Commentaries on this terrible thread
Absolutely weak chain to Ibn 'Abbās
No chain is provided, and you find the exact same words attributed to another 'Abd Allah : Ibn 'Amr ibn Al-āṣ, and the the text contains "he means the muwaḥḥidīn"
It seems it is solely reported by Ibn ḥumayd who is heavily criticized.
Saying that God informed us of what he wants regarding the people of paradise but did not inform us for people of hellfire is just an innacurate statement.

Ibn Zayd seems to be 'Abd Al-Raḥmān ibn Zayd ibn Aslam, severly criticized (taḥḏīb al-kamāl)
All the narrations you quoted are severely weak.
It's just another exaggeration from Al-ḡumāri, nothing to be taken seriously, lol.
No. He just followed a mutaşābih verse and tried to explain away all the clear verses.
Ash'aris believe that God *in theory* could put whoever he wants in hell and whoever he wants in paradise, but they don't believe that there is a possibility that it actually happens because God decreed that good people will go to paradise and bad people in hell.
So Al-Rāzi explains that Jesus's statement only is underlining God's perfect and total control on His creation, not that there does not exist a divine decree against wrongdoers.
Yes, nobody could object to any divine decision. It's not even conceivable that a creature could hold a judgement on God's decision. That does not mean that a divine decree does not already exist on the issue.

Absolute jahl.
