An attempt to talk about Mexico's political & green revolutions to both a general audience & soil scientists at the 5th annual Urban Soils Symposium. It might be too general for use in a course, esp. on Mexican history, but feedback welcome: via @YouTube
The Urban Soils Institute also featured Kathryn Yusoff. Check out their latest project on Ghost Geologies in Alabama. It's very cool that soil scientists are now even more interested in talking about soils in terms of poetics, potentialities, and power.
The Institute also invited Derryn Moten to discuss his work w/ the Equal Justice Initiative's Community Remembrance Project: Collecting Soils for Ottis Parham.
