The Carvajal mansion is freaking enormous, I’m sure there would have easily been a spare en-suite bedroom for Juliana to sleep in, but Val obviously insisted that Juls slept next to her!

And finally... Val is naturally a touchy feely type person and is usually the one to initiate physical intimacy while Juls tends to be more reserved and closed off...

Valentina sleeps on her side facing Juliana and she’s almost touching Juliana already...

In contrast, Juliana has her arms across her body, almost like she’s protecting herself and definitely like she doesn’t want to infringe on Valentina’s personal space...

However during this scene we see how being around Val changes Juliana’s behaviour... she wants to take up space and is comfortable moving into Val’s personal space, and Val is more than happy to let her!

There’s one particular moment I’d like to highlight...

I made a bad low quality gif so you can watch exactly how it plays out - Juliana pretends to be annoyed by Val’s neediness but is actually moving closer to Val, she presses into Val with her left arm and she also holds down Val’s shoulder with her right hand!

In conclusion, this scene comes at an important point in Juliana and Valentina’s burgeoning relationship and has so many well thought out aspects and tiny details that means I will never ever get bored of talking about it
