Want to support queer bookshops? A thread.
First - you can support any bookshop you like by using http://bookshop.org , which launches in the UK on Monday. On this page, you can enter your address and find your local bookshop and order from them: https://uk.bookshop.org/pages/store_locator
Second - why queer bookshops? This is a terrible time for all small businesses, but LGBTQ+ spaces have been particularly badly eroded by years of rising rates and austerity, and are a resource we can't afford to lose.
With that said:

I can't be the only person who, as a queer teen in London, walked into this bookshop and almost cried. So.

Just such a bloody great shop, rightly calls itself 'fiercely independent [and] queer'

The Portal Bookshop, York: https://the-portal-bookshop.square.site/s/shop
It's an SFF *and* LGBQ+ bookshop! It already has a great online store and pre-orders facility.

Although not strictly a queer bookshop Lighthouse Bookshop in Edinburgh is queer owned, community led, antiracist, feminist so I can't *not* mention it. https://lighthousebookshop.com/
If I missed any shops, please let me know and I'll add them. A number aren't on http://bookshop.org (I do hope they will be, but you never know). But:
You can order home delivery from all these via their own sites!
You don't have to live locally to order from them!
