I have been taking lots of flak by Nigerians shooting from the hip over my endorsement of Donald Trump. Perhaps its best i educate them on what Barack Obama will be remembered for in Africa.

So lets begin.
DECEMBER 2011. Shortly after NATOs destruction of Libya U.S President Barack Obama threatened to cut off foreign aid to Nigeria if the anti-gay bill is passed, but Nigerians are unwavering. Then something bizarre happened. In a strange and unprecedented move President Obama
.... issued a memo ordering American diplomats abroad to advance the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Persons. Well, President Goodluck Jonathan quickly signed the bill and the Nigerian senate passed a bill that strictly prohibits same-sex romantic liaisons.
Obama then goes on the offensive again. The U.S State Department then announced that the fight against gay and lesbian discrimination would be a central point of its foreign policy, and transgressing nations like Nigeria could be denied aid. But the overwhelming majority of
Nigerians who support the anti-gay bill are adamant. Think of it folks.. We have a culture and we have a tradition. We are Nigerians. We are not white, and so the U.S cannot impose its culture on us. Same sex marriage is alien to our culture and we can never give it a chance.
So if America withhold their aid to us, to hell with them right? Well that would have been awesome,, but Obama wasn't one yet. Lets back up a bit cos i feel i have to say this. Obama made history by being the first U.S President to approve same sex marriage.
Riding off the euphoria a strong delusion took root in his head that he was the messiah of the transgender and same sex community and hence had a sacred obligation to use the power of the U.S to bully weaker states into adopting this culture. Never in my life would i have ever
imagined that the first black President will launch an invasion into Nigeria's lawmaking process and seek to deny Nigeria as a sovereign nation its right to make its own laws without interferences from external forces.
In the worlds of David Mark

QUOTE

No country has the right to interfere in the way we make our own laws because we don't interfere in the way others make their own laws," Nigeria’s Senate President David Mark said when passing the bill.

This man wanted the biggest black nation on the planet to trade its values for American aid. He then flew over Nigeria and visited Ghana where he delivered a major speech on Ghana's role as the only hope of ECOWAS. Even with this deliberate slight on Nigeria he wasnt done yet.
Hillary Clinton, for TWO YEARS fought to keep Boko Haram off the U.S terrorist watchlist.
She then goes on CNN ripping the Nigerian government to shreds for failing to tackle this ''ABOMINABLE'' terrorist group.
But Obama wasnt done. He got wind of an arms deal between Israel and Nigeria and not only blocked the deal,, Obama went the extra mile to place an arms embargo on Nigeria, forbiding her allies to sell arms to Nigeria. An angry President Jonathan then cancels an agreement
for U.S to train a battalion of Nigerian soldiers. The U.S gave a one two combo, by cancelling the Super Tucano deal and announcing the U.S will no longer by Nigerian crude. Sending the Nigeria economy reeling into its worst economic depression in 37 years.
''RACIST'' Donald Trump came in and overturned a Nigeria arms embargo imposed by Obama. He openly questioned the Dem controlled House on the rationale for refusing to share intel with Nigeria.
How will Africa remember Obama. The Libyan people went from cheering NATO intervention to calling for them to leave. But it was too late. Libya today is a failed state. Nigerians may want to learn from this.
