The neoliberal ideology, this particular variation of it, is among the worst mutations our political system has ever produced in the human mind. It expresses its critique only within the boundaries allowed by the exact same state and corporate powers it’s pretending to criticize.

What it is instead, in effect, is cowardice and moral euthanasia, repackaged as deep nuance, and rewarded handsomely by the powers that be. What the neoliberal calls “Working within the system” is, quite literally, the singular human behavior from which the system is created.
