1/ The reason for Pashinyan's frequent usage of the word "genocide" is to trigger the Armenian nation's trauma through sensationalist rhetoric, which serves to effectively unite Armenians against "the enemy", even at the toughest of (military) situations.
2/ Creating the false impression that the history is repeating itself aims to make people believe they are fighting for their survival *once again*. Constant attempts to focus on Turkey's alleged on-ground, active involvement is a convenient way to reinforce this idea.
3/ This political victimization, however, is nothing more than a trick of populism, albeit dangerous one.
