Boris Johnson announces that people will have to stay home from Thursday until Dec 2nd except for:

* Education

* If they can't work from home

* Exercise

* Medical reasons

* Shopping for food and essential items

* Providing care for vulnerable
The following will be closed during the second lockdown:

* Non-essential shops

* Leisure

* Pubs, bars and restaurants

* Entertainment venues

* Hairdressers, beauty salons etc

The furloughing scheme will be extended and restored to 80% for the duration of the lockdown
