#Unity Cup tournament was organized in North Kashmir to engage and elevate the sportsman spirit, increase the brotherhood amidst the #YouthOfKashmir, identify their natural talents and train and prepare them for the State and National Trial Camps.

The event saw participation of #youth across multiple sporting disciplines, Cricket, Volleyball, Wushu & Karate. The event which ran from 15 - 31 Oct 2020, also had a social cause, associated with it and concluded with a cultural programme.

The Unity Cricket Cup involved 24 local cricket teams and was played on a knockout basis. The nail-biting final match was played between Kakrosa United Cricket Club and United Malikpora, with the former emerging as the winner in a thrilling fininsh.

The Volleyball #competition saw a total of 12 teams battle out each other to be crowned champions. Final match of the day saw the teams from Bandipora and Delina compete to stake their claim on the winner's trophy, with Delina narrowly edging out Bandipora.

#MartialArts too were on display at the event, with the boys from Young's Club, #Srinagar putting up a demonstration of Taekwondo, while the martial artists from Vilgam put up an enthralling display of Wushu & Karate.

The #Unity Blood Donation Camp was organized by the #IndianArmy in association with the Red Cross Society, Kupwara. Over 50 people came forward to donate their blood showcasing unanimity and willingness to stand shoulder to shoulder with the nation.

Team from the dance group, K-Virus, displayed their immense talent and choreographic skills, mesmerizing the large audience that had gathered to witness the event and partake in the celebrations of the #NationalUnityDay.

#Youth of Kashmir have once again proved, that they #StandwiththeNation and are ready to shed their blood and sweat to prove their mettle. #IndianArmy has and will always continue, to support such noble initiatives.
