In somewhat of a surprise, creators are lowkey starting to make a LOT of 💰💰💰 on Facebook.

Check out our video 👇 where we talk to @ItsAdamW, @IamDsprings, and @kylekuhns about exactly how much and when the $ figures started to get interesting.
The idea for the story came when - over the past few months - several creators and managers told me unprovoked and independently of one another, "Yo, this Facebook 💵 is starting to get real."

It's not quite = to YouTube CMPs just yet. On average FB is around 25% lower.
But, as the title of the video suggests, that can still add up to a LOT of dough.

Adam W. said he made over $1MM last year on Facebook. He's getting several million views a day. This upload from 10/1 has 70 million views alone. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2688626071452616
Kyle Khuns of XX Artists told me he has clients making five and six figures a month on the ad revenue from Facebook videos.

It's mostly repurposed content from YouTube, too. It's edited, titled, tagged, etc. differently, but it's the same stuff.
Daphnique Springs also gets crazy views. She was effusive in her praise of FB when we spoke.

Lotsa people say "YouTube changed my life." Was new to hear "Facebook changed my life." But makes sense when you post a vid and get 24 million views in a day?! https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=712018046065936
All this monetization has been a LONG time coming. And the process has left some serious casualties in its wake.

Facebook's promise of big video views and big ad dollars ushered in a "pivot to video" in 2015. It did NOT work out. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/facebook-committed-fraud-lawsuit-claims/
5 years later, though, and independent creators are:

A) making a living from it as their #1 platform or
B) starting to view it as another distribution outlet that can bring in almost equal revenue to their primary channels. IF they put the time into it.
In short:

1⃣Creators are starting to see serious $ from their videos on Facebook.
2⃣It's another distribution channel + takes incremental effort to make it work.
3⃣It's been a LONG time coming.
4⃣Expect a LOT more creators to be diving in soon.
