Jeremy's not an antisemite but, if he were, moving him from Labour into other left spaces wouldn't make left Jews safer. If you really care about antisemitism & the radical left you would center radical left Jewish voices & we've been saying for years expulsions make things worse
If you support Jeremy's suspension you cannot actually care about the lived experiences of those of us who have been dealing with left antisemitism for decades
You have to ask yourself, is my goal to move antisemitic voices into different spaces or is it to actually get people to be less antisemitic? If it’s the latter the only answer is political education
I have been experiencing left antisemitism pretty consistently since 2003. In 2005, Labour, with Blair at the helm, ran this antisemitic campaign. My whole argument is that this is so significant that moving a few people into different left spaces isn’t going to transform things
