I marched with the left. I was a Bernie supporter. The first President I campaigned for was Obama. I believed in change. Then I started asking questions. I started to be shamed for stating facts. I stopped speaking up. I stopped disagreeing. I hated who they told me to hate. 1/
I started to believe the propaganda a bit myself. I left myself dehumanize my fellow people for their political beliefs. I stopped thinking critically. I stopped questioning. I was ostracized for pointing out the truth. 2/
Hated for committing to voting third party because of my feelings for Biden. I was ridiculed for standing in what I believed in. No more. I’m tired of hate. I’m tired of division. I’m tired of anger. I’m tired of censorship. I’m tired of group think and echo chambers. 3/
I’m tired of identity politics. It’s time to #WalkAway and heal. It’s time for unity. It’s time to return to the Land of the Free. It’s time to stop spitting on the American dream because we’ve been told it’s unattainable. It’s time to stop being victims of our circumstances. 4/
It’s time to vote for the very values this country was founded on, and create something even better. I was a Never-Trumper, and I would crawl over broken glass to vote for him now. Let’s stop being angry and instead look to the future. 5/
