I enjoyed reading this saga a lot, there was a lot of key plot points introduced in the 2 arcs that are extremely important to the story. The world building in this arc shined too bright. Here’s a little thread:
On this amazing arc we get hints about the void century which is an important event in the manga, the texts mention something about a battle fought 800 years ago while defending the poneglyphs, hence the ruins in the picture which are the aftermath of the battle.

Noland the Liar’s story is one of the most amazingly written flashback I’ve ever seen from Oda, it talks about the promise between Noland and Kalgara, the story was really fun and emotional, the friendship between these 2 was phenomenal.

Sadly tho the ending was tragic, Noland ended up falsely executed while Kalgara died trying to guard the land of Jaya when it was knocked up to Skypiea.

Additionally we also got a hint about Dressrosa 👀
Here we got a very important plot development where this part speaks about Roger when he visited Skypiea, giving us an idea of how Roger’s journey looked like when he was conquering the Grand Line.

The conclusion was pretty amazing and I’m satisfied that Luffy was able to prove to everyone that Skypiea exists. I was more satisfied to read about the history in OP again & find the smallest details. This arc was really enjoyable and it had alot of funny & epic moments 👁
