What's your best advice for someone who wants to approach people to ask for trance, but doesn't really have anyth… — This one is totally going to be a thread... https://curiouscat.qa/TennfanHypno/post/1152389170
So, first off: welcome to the club! You aren’t alone in this feeling/issue. On some level, though, I think your question has its answer included. The key is being able to approach someone and really describe what it is you want.
You mention that you want to do hypnosis because of the submission/connection feelings - take some time to unpack what those feelings are like for you (or what you hope they’re like). There’s a huge difference between “hi uwu 👉👈 hypnotize pls” and...
“Hey! I’ve read your content and you seem really interesting! You’ve talked about some of the things you’ve done with hypnosis, and I was curious if we could be a good fit to play? I’m really interested in the way hypnosis can bring out feelings of submission and closeness...”
Most hypnotists really don’t love being used as a trance vending machine, but when you approach as a person talking to a person and with a sense of who you’re talking to, that goes *such* a long way.
The worst outcome if you approach with kindness and respect is that the hypnotist will say “no thanks.” (But be attuned to and ready to hear a soft no!) Don’t hide from what you want! Your desires are valid; express them like they are.
Also, me *every single time* I’m trying to figure out what to do other than “get hypnotized”:
