in collaboration with german railway DB, two concept dining cars (WRkmz136) were outfitted with mcdonald's kitchens and a custom interior, and put into service on the ic 724/725 hamburg - berchtesgarden line. the cars were restocked from mcdonald's locations along the route.

they were decommissioned in 1995 due to lack of popularity.

update: the first traincar featured here is apparently a photo from switzerland. our apologies - we made this mistake since information on the mctrain is scarce.
