What #kultusMatahari did to my skin?

It's not just about skin. It's about overall health. Physically, mentally, spiritually. It's a beautiful journey i could say.
Dulu i pun skincare freak juga. I've been told UV is harmful, it damages your skin can cause cancer yada yada.. Little did i know,
Avoiding UV halts the benefit of Vit D. And vit d is in charge, to prevent/slow down cancer, and important for immunity. So if i avoid my own body punya cancer fighter, how?? 😂 The irony kan?
I have fair skin, but problematic. Skincare routine? I did.. Moisturize, reapply sunscreen, macam skincare gurus kata lah. Did it work? Maybe. Ada time my skin okay, ada time macam gambar first tu lah.

But apa guna reapply sunscreen every two hours, but sleep after 12am 😂😂
Apa guna you buh serum mahal, layer with moisturizer to lock the hydration, layer pulak dengan sunscreen to protect yourself from UV 'harm' , if your body is disrupted? I'm not condemning skincare tau.. But what are your protecting yourself from actually? 😂
Back to my skin. So, after joining #kultusMatahari , read a lotttt of research papers, I made a decision. Keluar dari comfort zone. I start slow, we were taught to sunning safely. I start pagi, around 9.15am cantu. Combo dengan grounding. Did i stop my skincare routine?
No. I improvised it. Barefaced sunning and grounding, enjoyed the nature, masuk baru lah pakai serum and moisturiser. Belum ditch sunscreen tau, i pakai if keluar sebab pakai tudung kan.
Result awal awal?

I sleep well at night 😂 Less fatigue masa siang, and less anxious.
There are a lot of positive things happened, and it's all not just about skin tau.. so after i dah confident dah build sun tolerance sikit, i install dminder, start midday session. Dari daily dapat kan 3k IU, sampai i beranikan diri more than 10k IU per day at different time,
Bamm! No more hair loss. No more bloated tummy. And, my skin as you can see. Less breakouts, turns a bit golden (sebab tu install dminder, sunning safely bukan sampai rentung), very energetic during day, malam malam kiok yala my body deserve rest haha.
Nampak tak it's not all about skincare routine. I feel healthier, happier, my skin is just a medium of reflection. There it shows gitu..

So UV ni betul ke bahaya? Betul ke cause cancer?
I dig more through research papers. Skincare thread kat twitter won't tell you ya? Believe me, their concern is just your skin. Your face to be specific. Flawless glowing that's all. They won't touch about your cardiovascular health, immunity, vit d vit d vit d..
UV is harmful at certain point. But not getting UV, is harmful in every way 😤. Moderation, but optimum is the key. Your overall health is more important than just flawless and glowy skin.
Respect your body, give it what it needs. Your body won't betray you like your ex.
Sunscreen may give you glowy skin, but there's no evidence it prevents cancer. It's something you MAY need macam long exposure. But Vit D is issential. Your immunity depends on it. We are blessed, God gives us sunlight, so our skin produces vit d itself. FOC.
That's my story. Skincare journey, no lah.. more to healthcare journey.
