Fantasy au deku, has some magic and gets kidnapped by a traveling circus to put him on display in a far away kingdom. (Magic is seen as exotic there and his colourful features make him seem even more ~exotic~) every night he is put on display at the circus and is horribly abused
if he refuses to comply. It is here he meets a scruffy blonde furred werewolf. Izuku immediately feels kinship with the wolf as they also originate from his homeland. Izuku steals every free moment he can to visit the wolf and is punished whenever he is caught but that never
stops him from going. He begins to call the wolf 'Kacchan' after a boy he played with in the woods when he was little. He constantly sneaks the wolf food and talks all about his life before he was abducted and tells 'Kacchan' all about what he plans to do after he escapes the
circus. He's had many opportunities to escape but he refuses to leave until he can take the wolf home with him. He vows to break whatever enchantment has
'Kacchan' stuck in his wolf form so they can escape from there and make their way back to the lush forests and sprawling mountains of their homeland.
🖤

It was a normal day, /well his new normal/ the Jarutha people who had captured him put him in display again within his stage/cage. The man would shout things in a language he didn't understand at the crowd and would bang the bars to promote Izuku to 'perform'. The first time-
This had occurred he had been scared out of his wits. Foreigners had abducted him when he was out in the forest so close to his home picking some flowers for his mother, brought him to a new land and shouted at him constantly in a language he didn't understand and threw him in a
Cage. Eventually they dragged him out of that cage and threw him in a bigger cage on a recessed stage with more foreigners all around him staring in Pitt and disgust. The man was talking to the people and then paused he repeated what he said last and banged on the bars startling
Him. This happened several times and he was beaten and screamed at all the while. He never understood the language and all he could do in response was cry. He had no dea why they had took him or what they wanted him to do for the crowds they shuffled him in front of. Eventually
He is met with a snooty old man who looks down his nose at Izuku in very broken Ilavalhen.

"You make magic." The man says.

"Yes? All Ilavalhen do?" Izuku replies still confused.

The man whacks him with a cane causing him to yelp and hold his arm where he was hit.
That man shouts in Jaruthan before switching to broken Ilavalhen all the while pointing at the stage.

"You! Make! The! Magic!" The man shouts again and this time it clicks for Izuku.

/Oh/

They want him to cast some magic for the spectators to see. Immediately Izuku's heart
Drops. This is the reason he was taken from his home. To do lame party tricks any illavalhen child could do in front of strangers. Such a simple and stupid reason. He felt a little better though, knowing how to stop the constant beatings and shouting.
Izuku complies setting off small illusion spells that shoot of fireworks in the shape of things that remind him of home, of the drakes that live in the valley, the fae that he's seen infrequently in the forest. The forget-me -nots in his mother's garden. The flaxen haired
Ruby eyed, fire cracker of a boy he used to play with in the woods behind his home.

He often thinks of the boy now, when the night is long and his stomach empty. He fantasizes that the strong headed boy somehow finds him and they go far, far away from there.

It is on one such-
Night that Izuku sings a song the boy had taught to him as a child.

/The leaves they sway

But the trees never stray

all the while, we are running

Time may go

The river always flows

all the while, we are running

The moon may flee

She pays her childrens fee
Every night, we are running

The fires may burn

The game may not return

Still we stay, we are running

The ashes blow

No undergrowth below

Through charred lands

We are running.

Izuku cries as he sings, his voice quiet and cracking on the higher notes. Kacchan had taught
Him the song one day when the blonde had caught him crying in the woods all alone. The tow headed child had asked Izuku "what he was being such a whiny baby for?"

Izuku simply cried harder explaining his issues in controling his magic, how the other village children would shove
Him and blame his ancestry for his problems mastering his magic.

After Izuku's explanation the blonde sighed and grabbed his shoulders.

That was the first time the blonde had sang for him. His voice was rich and deep. It was smooth where the notes flowed and powerful when
They rose. Izuku recalled that he had stopped crying then to look on in awe. It was a powerful scene, the way the sun shown in his hair and the way his face had screwed up in emotion. He would remember it until the day he died. Remember Kacchan until the day he died.

The song
Itself was moving. It spoke of perseverance, regardless the obstacle. It was like the boy was cheering him on and Izuku often looked upon the memory fondly. When he had lost all hope he sang the song.

Kacchan believed in him. He shouldn't overlook that, he shouldn't give up
On himself. No matter how badly he wanted to. No matter, how much getting back home to his mother seemed like a pipe dream. He had to believe. One day he'd get back. Somehow.

It's when he finishes the song that he starts to hear a mournful howl.
Izuku feels his heart stop when he hears the mournful howl overtaking the quiet noise of the circus. It prompts him to get up of the dirty hay covered floor of the cage he was kept in and run to the bars to look for who was making the sound.

He could hear the magic weaving
Through the howl and he knows in his heart that the one crying out is no ordinary wolf.

"Kinsman?" Izuku shouts out is Illavalhen causing one of the Jaruthans who usually watch his cage to shout at him. He doesn't understand them but he thinks it equates to "Shut the fuck up!"
He quiets still swore after the beating he already recieved that day, he's not looking for an encore.

The wolf though, seems to howl in reply at his shout and Izuku just knows the beast is of his homeland. He feels it in I'd soul, in the magic that weaves its way through its
Song. The Jaruthans shout again and make their way to where, presumably, the beast resides in it's own, cold, oppressive cage.

Izuku watches the direction in which the Jaruthans head with a careful eye.

🧡💚
Izuku feels exilerated, the last time he had attempted this he was caught and beaten so badly he was unable to move the next day.

He was sure he would be caught again but even if he was it would be worth it. Izuku had always had the ability, through his magic, to leave his cage
It was what happened after he left his cage that keeps him trapped within the circus. What the Jaruthans lack in magic they make up for in brutality and the had no qualms about being brutal with Izuku.

Not that brutality was absent in his homeland, the
Presence of magic changed the nature of brutality there. Who needed martial arts when you could magic the opposing party into seeing your point of view? Scheming and double speak was the way of the land. Not sheer force.

Izuku stay as quiet as possible as he makes his way to
Where he knows his kinsman resides, he can feel it in his soul. Ever since he felt the bittersweet magic colouring the melancholy howl he HAD to find the creature.

He needed to, like a calling. As if it was fate.
When he finally reached his destination, blessedly, undiscovered he feels his heart stop as he approaches. This creature is made of magic. He can feel the nostalgic tang of it every step he draws nearer.

When Izuku does arrive at the front of the dusty bars he stares in awe.
He has no other words to describe the beast except for 'beautiful'.

The beast is oppressively large, and distressingly muscular. He is in shock at how the Jaruthans managed to capture the beast in the first place.

The beast's fur is the colour of wheat ready for harvest and
It's eyes the colour of fresh blood on a hot summer's day. The beasts eyes betray a deep intellect the way they size Izuku up as he approaches the bars of the cave. Izuku knows what the beast is, it yips at him petulantly and growls when Izuku comes closer and
It takes in his bruised, dirty and disheveled apperance.

"I knew it!" Izuku shouts as he grasps the bars in excitement and cries in sorrow at the same time.

The beast grows silent as it approaches the bar as well. Izuku can feel it's hot panting breaths on his face.
Izuku is reminded so much of his tow headed friend when the beast growls as it leans forward to lick the tears of Izuku's face.

The aggressive comfort is so nostalgic and heart breaking all at once. He wants to be free of the Jaruthans and find his friend once more.
It is in that moment that he vows to release both of them of this oppressive hell. No matter what.

🧡💚🐺
Izuku spends the whole night sat infront of the beasts cage. At some point he asks permission to call the beast Kacchan "You remind me of an old friend!" The green haired man says and the beast merely nods its head in agreement.

Izuku giggles and continues to tell 'Kacchan' all
About his tow headed friend the beast reminds him so much of. Izuku talks so much that eventually he passes out in the midst of his rambling against the bars of Kacchan's cage.

He later wakes wakes to a boot in his stomachache and being relieved of his previous night's dinner.
He can hear Kacchan's growling and barking in dissent at his abuse at the hands of the Jaruthan men. Izuku feels a roar in his ears as the kicking and beating continues. He cries and whimpers in pain until he loses conciousness.
Izuku wakes later in his own cold dirty cage, cold, sore and hungry.

He swims in and out of consciousness and is given a draught to awaken him some before bringing him out to perform magic for clueless Jaruthans. He tries his best but the flame within him is weak and dim.
He sets off a few sparks and promptly collapses again. He hears shouting in dissent in the crowd though he cannot understand the words. Whether the anger is at his treatment or his inability to put on a show, he does not know.

He wakes later in his cage again, he is provided a
Blanket, although worn and moth eaten. Regardless of its desperate state Izuku still curls into it. It is a small comfort but it's the only comfort he has.

Izuku thinks of ruby eyes.

Well maybe not the only comfort.

🧡💚
Over the next couple days he recovers as quickly as he can manage, he wants to see Kacchan as soon as possible. He knows that he'll be beaten if caught again but that acts as no such deterrent to him.

He thinks of ruby eyes and his heart pulses. This beast coming to him was...
meant to be. He knows it. Freeing the creature is why he was here. That must be fates purpose for him. Not petty parlor tricks for the enjoyment of strangers.

He eats only half of his already pittance of a meal for the day and saves the rest for Kacchan. Based on his own
pathetic starvation diet he knows they must be doing the same to the beast.

He waits untill no jaruthan are around and stuffs his newly given blanket full of straw to make it seem as though he lay sleeping.

He makes his way to Kacchan's cage without incident and smiles
cheerily when he approaches the bars of the beasts prison.

"Hi Kacchan!" Izuku chirps.

As soon as the beast notices the green haired man he runs up to the bars and begins to whine and lick Izuku's fingers.

It seems he was worried for him.

"I'm ok now Kacchan, I promise!"
Izuku smiles again and slips his hand through the bars to scratch at the beasts ears.

Kacchan whines again and leans into his touch. His fur is deceptively soft around his ears and Izuku couldn't be happier.

Izuku shows him the food he saved for Kacchan and places it on the
Other side of the bars.

"Here I brought this for you!" He whisper shouts. Pleased to show off his gift to the beast.

Katsuki looks at the food and then gives Deku's clearly starved and thin body a once over and growls for emphasis.

Despite being unable to talk the beast
had no problem communicating.

Izuku rubs the back of his head in embarrasment. He knows his body is nothing like it once was. He was a lot more muscular before his capture, most of it from being the man of his mother's house. He chopped the wood, shoveled the snow, tilled the
garden. He was above average and now he almost looked like a skeleton he was so thin. He glimpsed a look at his face passing by some glass the other day and winced at the sight of himself. His cheeks had lost a lot of its previous roundness and his hair was starting to look
matted and beyond dirty. God the stench of him must be awful. He's shocked that he hasn't become ill from being forced to go without bathing for so long. He hoped he would be allowed one soon but the thought of doing so with the Jaruthans present brought bile up his throat.
"Look, Kacchan please just indulge me this once! If they're not feeding me enough I doubt your hardly getting the amount you need!" Izuku begs the beast who simply huffs and rolls his eyes in response before starting on his gifted meal.

Izuku feel fulfilment at watching Kacchan
eat.

"Thanks Kacchan!" He whisper shouts again.

He's never got so much enjoyment from watching another eat before, but his empty stomach was totally worth being able to feed the beast.

Kacchan glares at him and growls again.

"Ok, Kacchan I promise I won't do it
again!" Izuku promises. He doesn't intend to keep the promise but it placates the beast non the less.

Days keep going by like this and Izuku plots his way out of jaruthan circus.

He had noticed the first night that an enchanted collar had encircled Kacchan's neck. It's
purpose was clearly to keep the beast shifted into his wolf form and under control. It was an enchanted magical item that would have taken a full week to weave the enchantment into the leather and metal spikes that turned inward towards the beasts throat.

Izuku's main issue
escaping was, firstly he was too weak and injured to fight back, and, second he had no idea how to make his way home from where he was. Hell, he knew he was in the empire of Jarutha, but beyond that figuring out a path to get home was impossible.

However, if he can get the
enchanted collar off of Kacchan, that would kill two birds with one stone. Kacchan could easily tear apart anyone who attempted to hinder their escape and due to his nature, would be able to lead them back to Illavalhen.

Izuku hides his time, feeding Kacchan half his meals and
ignores the grumbling the beast shoots his way every time.

He has yet to be caught since the first time, making sure to get back to his cage before the members of the circus begin to rouse. So far his straw dummy has yet to fail him.

*****
(TBC I gotta go to work)
Izuku feels better when the Jarutha bring him out to perform that night. Despite eating less and still recovering from his last major punishment he feels more energy than normal. His eyes are a little less dead as he shows the Jarutha people illusions of his home land. He his so
Homesick he conjures the pine and earthy scent of his homeland in the fall, along with the images of falling red and yellow leaves, the sound of footsteps on the forest floor. The crunch of leaves and fallen branches of pine needles. The love he feels at the scene causes him to
cry. It serves as a promise to himself. He will get Kacchan and himself back to freedom.

Bright eyes the colour of a warm sea catch his eyes in the crowd, looking at him with interest and Izuku can't help but feeling a small twinge of fear.

✨✨
Izuku tries to forget the eyes that were on him and prepares himself to go see Katsuki again that night when he is startled by a couple Jaruthan men coming into his cage.

Izuku jumps up and backs into a corner away from the men. He throws his hands up and shouts.
"I haven't done anything, I performed just like you asked me!" Unless Izuku is being brought out to perform or punished for 'misbehaving' he is usually left to himself.

He was looking to visit Kacchan again tonight and he couldn't do that keeled over in pain.
The men shout at him for whatever reason and simply walk up to him and throw him into a fireman's carry. Grumbling in Jarutha all the while.

Izuku cries out as he is hoisted up and over the man's shoulder he tries to fight back in a fright, but his efforts are useless.
"Where are you taking me, put me down!" Izuku shrieks, hitting the man holding him all the while.

He is carried through the camp and brought to another tent. They pass Kacchan along the way, he is clearly angered snarling, growling and barking at the men carrying him as they
pass. Izuku silences and stares into ruby eyes as he is brought into the tent. Everything leaves his hearing and vision except for those eyes. He doesn't look away until the entrance of the tent closes and obstructs his view.

The man throws Izuku down to the floor of the tent-
And his breath leaves him in a woosh as pain blossoms along his back. He curls on his side as he struggles to catch his breath.

Before he can the men are upon him ripping his dirty, tattered clothing off of him. Izuku tries to fight back but in his starved state he has no
strength to match them.

Once he is relieved of his clothing the men pull him up and Izuku cried out. Izuku notices before him a basin filled with water.

With no warning one of the men shove him into the basin and Izuku shouts. The water is freezing cold and he shivers
violently. The men are careless and agressive as they scrub Izuku's body of the filth he's accumulated over the weeks. He cries out in pain as the shove their fingers through his scalp trying to release the dirt and mats ripping his hair out in the process.

Once Izuku is clean
the men yank him out of the bath and dress him in a simple black robe and carry him to another tent. He can still hear Kacchan's dissent as he's brought out into cool damp night air.

He his brought to another tent far away from where the prisoners of the circus reside.
When to a new tent Izuku stills in fear. This one is clearly luxurious and in Izuku feels rugs at the base of his feet. A luxury he hasn't felt since visiting the chief of his small village. There is comfortable furniture, furs and trinkets scattered around the area
Lending itself to a luxurious atmosphere.

It is what is in the center of the tent that stills Izuku's heart. A bed.

There is a bed at the center of the tent.

The men simply leave him there and Izuku remains frozen in a panic.

No one had ever shown a sexual interest in
Izuku before. He was somewhat of an outcast due to his father's bloodline and his poor control over his magic. I had never crossed his mind that anyone would want him this way, nor had he felt that for anyone else.

He stood there praying he was jumping to conclusions when the
shuffling sound of the tent being opened fills his ears and he turns around to face who he had been prepared for.

Izuku gasps when he sees turquoise eyes.

*******
The man stands tremendously taller than Izuku and is quite a bit broader than Izuku's current slim frame.

His hair is red and his face is calm and put together. Izuku feels a rage within him grow at the thought that this man had possibly purchased him for an evening that
Immediately deflates when he hears the man speak.

"I'm sorry for any distress this may have caused you." The man says in slightly accented Illavalhen.

"You speak illavalhen?" Izuku asks his rage turns into elation at the prospect of being able to speak with someone
other than Kacchan.

"Um, yeah... Uh here." The man says blindly as he passes his hand over his face and removes an illusionary spell that he had cast on himself.

His hair changes from wholly red to red and white. While his left eye remains turquoise a scar overtakes it.
His left eye turns grey and Izuku runs up towards him in excitement and grasps the man's forearms.

"You're a kinsman!" Izuku shouts in his excitement. He would know those features anywhere. There was a clan that lived in the mountains that carried those features called the
"Kanik". His clan would trade them wheat and other produce from their fertile valley in trade for the furs meat and rare medicinal ingredients of the mountains. They were a fair and proud people.

The man looks away in embarrassment at Izuku's excitement.
"My mother is, my father is Jaruthan." The man says apparently shameful.

Izuku looks up at him and us thankful his fate for the evening is possibly changed.

"So you didn't purchase me for an evening?" He says while tilting his head. He doesn't feel like this man would do
something like that but he wants to clarify his fate to ease his anxiety.

"Gods, No!" The man shouts. Heat overtaking his face.

"I mean, I did and that's what the circus runners think I'm doing but I just did that to get alone with you!" He continues desperation colouring
his voice.

"Listen!" The man says grasping Izuku's face in his broad calloused hands.

"When I saw you in that cage, dirty, bruised and crying I knew I had to help you! You reminded me so much of my mother! Her fate was similar to yours until my father saw her
performance one night and desired her."

Izuku shook in fear at how easily that could have been his fate today and he hadn't even been conscious of it before.

"I couldn't save her, but when I heard that a circus had an illavalhen on display I just knew I had to come find you!"
The man says his face screwed up in an emotion Izuku could only call guilt.

"Anything you need from me ask it and on your next performance I'll ask for you again. What's your name?" The man asks his thumb rubbing Izuku sallow cheek.

"Izuku Midoriya, and yours?"
Izuku asks in return.

"Shouto Todoroki." the man replies.

Izuku has an new ally. Maybe his freedom was closer than it seemed.
Shouto gifts Izuku some plain, warmer clothing. Izuku is very thankful, he was worried he would be forced to go back into his cage in nothing but the robe as his clothing was destroyed.

he tells the man as much and he smiles warmly at him.
"I figured you would need some, you looked so pathetically dirty and scrawny. I don't know if it's part of the appeal to other you or if they really care that little for your health." Shouto looks a little angry if, in a reserved quiet way.

"Also here!" He says -
Passing Izuku some bread. Izuku's stomach rumbles and he thanks the man again. As usual he eats half the meal and saves the rest for Kacchan.

Izuku gives Shouto a list of ingredients he think he might need to remove the enchantment cast on Kacchan. He goes over them with-
Shouto explaining what they are and where he can find them, Shouto knows most of these things already but listens diligently to the instructions regardless.

He takes the note and puts it in his breast pocket. Izuku goes to put his new clothing on but is stopped by a hand-
around his wrist. He looks back at Shouto and sees that a blush has overtaken his face. Izuku tilts his head.

"What's wrong Shouto?" Izuku asks.

He releases Izuku's wrist and says "um, I want to leave some evidence so they're not suspicious as to what were actually doing."
Izuku feels his face heat instantly.

"Oh." He mumbles unable to say much more out of embarrassment.

Shouto's blush deepens. "I'll only leave one." He promises as he pulls the collar of Izuku's robe aside and leans down to latch onto his neck.

He can feel his pulse
Beat against the man's hot wet mouth as his tongue laps against his neck and /sucks/.

Izuku unintentionally let's out a small moan and blushes /harder/. He's never even had his first kiss before let alone..... whatever this was.
This goes on for a couple moments more before Shouto moved away from his neck and wipes a lingering string of saliva with the back of his and.

He assessed his handy work and nods approvingly.

"There, that should remove any doubt." he says ruffling Izuku's hair.
Izuku nods, not knowing how he feels about what just occurred but he tries to get over it. He needs to focus on his escape and taking care of Kacchan that's all he cares about.

He puts on the gifted clothing and they are baggy on him. Oh well, easier to hide things. He hides
the food he intends to give Kacchan and does not resist when Shouto leaves and the Jaruthan men man handle him back to his cage.

He doesn't understand what the Jaruthan men are saying about him but he can guess the nature of their words based on the leering looks that linger
on the kiss mark Shouto left on his neck.
*********

The men bring Izuku to his cage and slam the doors on him causing him to jump. One of the two men says something he can't understand to him in a tone that gives him chills before taking off to patrol.
Izuku waits for the most of the men to sleep and takes off when the surveillance is thin. When he approaches Kacchan's cage his hearts hurts, the wolf looks a little worse for wear. He must of been punished for the fuss he but up earlier.

"Kacchan!" He whisper shouts
to get the attention of the wolf while remaining discreet. As soon as the wolf is alerted to his presence and runs up to the bars of his cage and whines.

Izuku runs up to meet him and pets the wolfs face through the bars.
The tawny wolf returns the affection in spades, licking Izuku's wrists and fingers whining all the while.

Izuku decides that he wants to be closer to the wolf. He unlocks the wolf's cage and enters it. The moment he closes the door behind him Kacchan jumps on him and topples
him to the ground. Izuku's breath leaves him in a woosh as the heavy beast lands atop him. The beast whines as he licks his face and hair. It's ticklish and Izuku tried his hardest to stay quiet during the whole affair. It is when the wolf reaches his neck that the
jovial attitude ends and and eerie silence takes its place.
It appears that the beast had caught an unwelcome scent as he shoves his snout into Izuku's throat and takes one large sniff. Izuku lies completely still to allow the beast the scenting. It takes not even a moment for a low growl to emanate from the beasts chest
after he finishes the scenting.

"Wait, Kacchan, it's not what it seems!" Izuku tries to whisper an explanation to the clearly irritated beast who ignores him and continues his growls as he continues to lick at his neck.
Izuku figures that the wolf had smelt Shouto on him and had seen the kiss mark on his neck, causing the anger.

"Kacchan it's not- AH!" Izuku moans out as the wolf nips him exactly where the kiss mark had been on his throat.

"nnnn, ah!" the green haired man cries out again
as the attention on his throat does not let up as the growls intensify along with the pressure of the beasts tongue upon his throat. Izuku can feel his heart beating in his throat and tears spring in his eyes. He's something he'd never thought he'd feel around the wolf, he is
scared.

"Kacchan!" Izuku yells in desperation.

The wolf finally stops the attack on his throat at his cry. Immediately he seems regretful as he gets off of Izuku and begins to lick at the tears that have started to stream down his cheeks, whining all the while.
Izuku grabs the scruff of the wolf's tawny fur and cries into his side. Once he has calmed down enough he explains to the beast what had happened earlier that day and that the kiss mark was left as a ruse to make the meetings seem believable. When Izuku reached that part of his
story the wolf huffs at him in a disbelieving tone as if to say: "Yeah, that's the excuse he told you."

"It's true!" Izuku says at him in an affronted tone.

Izuku wonders why it would bother the wolf that much and comes to a realization.
"Why do you care so much who kisses my neck, hmmm?" he says, an absolute shit eating grin overtaking his features.

The beast huffs again clearly irritated with him.

"Someone's feeling possessive - uh!" Izuku is unable to finish his teasing when the wolf growls and pins him
to the floor again. Izuku tried his best to hold in his laughter as the wolf uses light brushes of his fur and whiskers to tickle him on his face and neck.

"Kacchan, ha, please sto-, he, I take it back, I take it back!" he cries out.
Kacchan seems pleased with the declaration and stops his tickle assault on the poor boy.

It takes a few moments to Izuku to catch his breath and when he does he gives Kacchan the food he had been hiding.
They do the usual song and dance that is Izuku trying to feed the beast, but in the end, as usual it ends in Kacchan reluctantly eating the meal.

After the beast finishes the meal Izuku shivers when a brisk wind works it's way through the cage. Immediately the beast wraps
itself around the boy. Izuku immediately cuddles into the soft tawny fur and furnace like heat and sighs in relief.

He spends most of the evening entangled with the beast, petting his soft ears and tells him of his plan to get them out of there.
Izuku has to wait a couple days for Shouto to return and bring him supplies, each time he does the same song and dance with the Jaruthans. They take him out of his cage to bathe him before bringing him to the same tent to see Shouto again.
Izuku’s thankful for the chance to get semi regular baths, despite how unpleasant the experience is for him. Izuku is wary of the eyes of the Jaruthan men, their lingering eyes on his form is unsettling and puts a sinking feeling in his stomach every time.
But nothing happens past the lingering looks and what he assumes are disparaging comments about his body. He still doesn’t understand the Jaruthan language and he hopes that he never needs to.
Each time they meet he brings Izuku additional items for the spell he needs to break the enchantment encircling Kacchan’s neck. He brings additional layers of clothing for Izuku as well, that was another problem Izuku was solving, slowly but surely.
Jarutha was cold and it was getting colder every day. He needed clothing if he was to travel with Kacchan to their homeland lest he die of exposure. Another time he brings him a cloak disguised as a blanket.
The Jaruthan men luckily for Izuku care not for the things Shouto brings him. He guesses they supposed they are trinkets for a mistress.
Each time they part Shouto leaves a kiss mark on his neck and each time he goes to visit the beast, Kacchan is less than happy about it. The beast always positions himself on top of him and grumbles.
Izuku thinks it’s endearing, asides from his mother he’s never really had people concerned with his well-being before. Izuku thinks it’s endearing, asides from his mother he’s never really had people concerned with his well-being before.
Kacchan -the original one, seemed to care for him, in his own aggressive way. Izuku missed the boy dearly. He would see the boy reliably in the summers. He’d need only enter the woods by his home on a mid summer day and there the blonde boy would be.
He was the only friend he ever had as a child and he hopes the boy is well, wherever he is.
He snuggles into the tawny fur every time the beast lays atop him. He threads his fingers through the soft fur and feels complete. He’s almost finished in collecting the ingredients he needs from Shouto and his next visit will likely be his last.
.
.
.
Eventually the next visit comes, he performs like most nights and will see Shouto momentarily. The last visit he had asked the man for some extra food to start them off for their journey. He plans to leave as soon as he can.
When he is returned to his cage he will create the spell needed to break the enchantment and they will escape. It has to be tonight.
Sneaking the wolf food has improved the beast's stature and physique but Izuku knows the wolf’s conditions are intolerable. He nor Izuku were meant to be caged like they were. If Izuku found his living conditions intolerable he was sure it was doubly so for the beast.
Izuku longed to see the beast run free, to know the man that was trapped within that form, enslaved by the enchanted collar.
The thought of seeing ‘Kacchan’ in his human form brought a buzzing feeling into Izuku’s stomach. It was clear the beast and the man within had grown attached to him, in whatever capacity Izuku couldn’t say for sure but he had a suspicion it was closer than just ‘friends’.
They always had been though, from the moment Izuku heard his howl, magic interweaving with it the beast had found a home in his heart.
So he is brought to Shouto as he usually is after a showing. He is bathed and robed and placed into the tent. He sits on the bed awaiting his patrons arrival when the two tone haired man arrives with a somber look on his face.
He is holding a pack enchanted to look like another blanket and the last item he requested for the spell. Izuku is so pleased he starts crying. It’s finally happening, after all his patience his freedom is so close he can taste it.
He runs up to the somber looking man and hugs him. Feeling the much larger man's body against him while he wears nothing but the robe is a bit awkward but he tries not to think about it too much as he is so happy.
“Thank you so much Shouto, with this I am finally free!” He says joy colouring his voice. He is so happy he cannot contain himself and starts to cry. He hugs the man again and is hugged in return.
The larger man’s arms come up around him and rub his back. He then pushes Izuku away from his chest gently so the smaller man can look at his face.
“I promise, your departure brings me nothing but joy, Izuku. I’m simply sad I will likely not see you again.” Shouto says, Izuku takes him as a man who does not cry but if he did Izuku thinks he would do so now. He looks quite solemn.
Izuku shakes his head at the man and goes to his tippy toes. He grabs each side of the man’s face and brings him down to match his height and brings their foreheads together.
“If you ever come to Ilavellhen this is where you can find me.” He says before showing Shouto images of his home land in his mind.
The name of his clan, the valley he is from, the scents of the plants carried on the summer air, the sound of the animals calling out to each other in the summer.
Once he’s done transmitting the images into the man’s mind he releases his face and plants his feet back down on the floor.

“Or you can always send out a messenger. You seem to be much more attune to the gift than I am.” he says calmly as he takes another step back.
They go to sit on the bed and converse with each other while they wait the approximate amount of time for a lover’s rendezvous. Izuku gets dressed in the clothing Shouto brought him as the man looks away to afford Izuku his privacy.
They get ready to depart and as Izuku is about to leave he is stopped by the other man’s hand on his elbow.
“Shouto, what?” Izuku asks in a confused tone.

“Just let me-” the man says, twirling Izuku towards him and kissing him on the mouth. Izuku is shocked, feeling the man’s firm insistent lips on his own and before he can truly
even process the moment the kiss is over and the man pulls away.
Izuku looks at him, a questioning glance in his eyes and Shouto responds by tucking some hair behind his ear and rubbing his thumb along his cheek bone.
“Consider it a goodbye kiss, in case I never see you again.” the man says. That somber look is back and he really is crying again.

Izuku grabs his hand firmly and says “then, find me, friend.” he whispers quietly into the night.
Shouto looks down and sighs. He takes a moment to recover and nods.

“Friend.” He nods seeming to reluctantly agree.
Izuku had suspected it before but the kiss had solidified it for him. Shouto cared for him in a way that Izuku couldn’t return. He was sure if a certain tawny furred beast wasn’t around things might be different,
but alas, that space in his heart was filled to the brim with a growling arrogant creature.

They finally depart and Izuku is escorted back to his cage. The guards take their usual position and Izuku waits.

As soon as the guards pass out Izuku preps the spell he needs. He gets dressed in the layers Shouto has brought him and dons his cloak. It’s a gorgeous item of clothing.
A deep teal in colour with red embroidery along the collar. I was thick and warm and would be sure to protect the man from the elements as they journey back to their homeland.
Izuku looked through the pack Shouto had provided him with that evening and saw the requested food, he shoves the extra clothing he can’t wear into the pack and embarks.

He sneaks past the sleeping guards and makes his way over to Kacchans cage.
He casts the small spell that unlocks the cage and grants him access. He enters slowly and wakes the beast.

“Kacchan.” he whispers, gently shaking the wolf attempting to wake him.

The rumbles slightly as he wakes he gets up and stretches and goes to Izuku to complete
his usual greeting of scenting the boy but tilts his head in confusion when he sees the boy’s attire.

“We’re getting out of here tonight!” Izuku says with the most conviction of anything he has ever said in his life.
“We're going home, Kacchan!” he says again inspecting the spiked collar feeling for the best spot.

He pulls out the spell he made to break the enchantment out of his pack and places the jar on the ground.
“Kacchan, this might hurt a little but I need you to stay as quiet as possible ok?”
The beast nods in agreement and Izuku gets to work setting up the enchantment. He pulls the cork out of the bottle and puts two fingers into the concoction within.
He rubs it unto the collar creating little sigils around the circumference of it. When he is done he wipes his hands clean of the concoction and closes his eyes.
// May iron rust, be brittle and frail. This curse be done, may it fail. I bid to thee, end this tale. Release this beast from his jail.//
The collar glows and burns and Izuku himself gasps and collapses, the spell taking the energy it needs of him. He is left gasping on the floor in pain as he smells burnt fur and a low whine from the beast before hearing the collar clatter to the floor of Kacchan’s cage.
Izuku lets out a small giggle while laying on the floor as he tries to recover. It takes a moment before Kacchan is upon him, licking the tears off of his face in glee and releasing a slight whine.
Izuku takes another moment before getting himself up. He’s a little more clumsy and slow than he normally is. His magic is weaker than most of his kinsmen and so aside from simple illusion spells doing anything further than that really takes it out of him.
He is still panting slightly and sweating when he goes to inspect Kacchan’s neck. There are gaping wounds where the spikes were embedded into his neck and a burn around his neck where the collar laid. His fur is also charred in this spot as well.
It will likely scar like that but it will heal. Kacchan is a being inherently made of magic, it would take way more than that to fell this beast.
Izuku rustles the fur atop the beasts head and smiles.

“Let's get out of here!” he says before placing a small, chaste kiss upon the beasts forehead. The beast releases a small contented huff.
They quietly exit Kacchan’s cage and do their best to avoid the guards. When they finally make it to the tree line without detection Izuku cries in relief.
He starts to jog as fast as his tired, malnourished body can carry him. Which admittedly isn’t fast but he goes all the same. He feels so euphoric like nothing can stop him. Home, he’s going home.
Eventually they are far enough distance away when it starts to snow and Izuku defers to the wolf.

“Lead the way Kacchan, I actually have no clue where we are or how to get back home.” Izuku says throwing his hand out gesturing for the wolf to go ahead of them.
The wolf complies and leads the way. He takes a moment lifting his snout the the air taking a moment to scent the air, finding their homeland on the wind before picking a direction and walking. Izuku simply follows behind and walks.
He talks about everything and nothing. Tells Kacchan about the fertile valley of his homeland. How he and his mother live in a small cottage at the edge of that valley near the woods. He tells the wolf all about his mother.
She makes the best pork belly cutlet when they can afford the meat from the market. He tells him how much his mother will just love him. Just talk on and on and on.
Before long the snow has covered the landscape and the forest they are walking through has a nice light scent to it. It’s a quiet that he hasn’t heard in a while, just the crunching of his shoes in the snow and the occasional sounds of animals. It’s nice, nostalgic even.
Eventually Izuku gets more exhausted than he already was and asks if they can rest for the night. The wolf nods in agreement and he finds them a suitable tree to take refuge under. Izuku opens his pack and shares a meal with the beast before going to sleep.
He makes sure his cloak is wrapped around him tight and brings up his hood before snuggling into the furnace like heat of the beast and drifting off.

Izuku wakes in the middle of the night feeling the call to nature. He carefully extracts himself from the wolf's side so as to not awaken him. He slinks off to find an appropriate distance to relieve himself.
He is a fair distance away when he attends to the deed and in the midst of it is shocked. He hears the tell tail clip clopping of horses. The Jaruthans have tracked them.
Izuku scrambles to get his trousers back up and runs to go awaken Kacchan when he turns around and is met with two Jaruthan men from the circus. Izuku can feel his heart pound in his as the men get off their horses and walk towards him.
They both have sneers on their faces and are chuckling amongst each other lobbing jeers at Izuku that he cannot understand.
“KACCHAN!” Izuku screams in despair, trying to call out to his companion. Izuku knows he is incapable of winning a fight right now. The guards are the same two who would watch him and prepare him to see Shouto.
He remembers the looks they gave him then are the same looks they are giving him now and Izuku feels sick to his stomach.
“KACCH-!” One of the men runs up to him and backs hands him so hard he lands on the snow.

The man kicks him, knocking the wind out of him before straddling him and starts trying to rid him of his clothes.
“No!” Izuku shouts out before being struck on the face again leaving him in a momentary daze. It’s during this daze that he feels cold hands on his waist and rough, chapped lips against his own. The man’s breath stinks so bad Izuku thinks that he’ll be sick.
Izuku twists his face away from the disgusting kiss and attempts to push the man off of him. It’s at this exact moment that he hears a fearsome snarl and the man atop him is ripped away.

Izuku takes this second to get up and back away before he sees what he knew he would.
Kacchan is there ripping the throat out of the Jaruthan, snarling all the while. It is what he sees next however, that shocks him.

The other Jaruthan screams and scuttles back from the scene, making a run towards his horse. It’s then that Izuku sees the beast transform for the first time.
The man is tall, muscular and expectedly nude except for the blonde pelt that hangs off of his shoulders. Izuku is behind him so he still can’t see the beast’s face. He takes a menacing step off of the corpse beneath him before
walking step by step towards the remaining Jaruthan man. Izuku can plainly see that the man is terrified and is leaned up against his horse looking up at the man.
The beast speaks but Izuku cannot understand but the Jaruthan hears him clearly. He responds and back to the beast nodding his head and slowly frantically mounting his horse.
The beast’s voice has a growling quality to it and it's somehow nostalgic, far beyond the magic undertones he feels with every growling utterance.
The Jaruthan rides off as fast as he can and Izuku is surprised the man didn’t soil himself.

Izuku is still in shock looking at the beast. He knew, he knew there was a man living inside the wolf this entire time and yet seeing him now was still a revelation. His aura,
his voice, there was something about the man that was hauntingly familiar. The scene before him caused an ache in his heart, deep in his bones and he couldn’t understand why.
The forest was covered in snow, white and powdery as far as his eye could see. In the center of his vision was the momentary man. He was muscular and tall and, much like the wolf had light, blonde hair covering his frame. His face though, he has yet to see his face.
“Are you okay, Deku?” a gravelly voice says.

Izuku’s heart stops.

“Kacchan?” Izuku questions. His voice leaves him in a shaky whisper. There was only one person who ever called him that in his life. A small, tow headed boy with garnet eyes and a feisty personality.
A boy he only ever met in the woods, but … it can’t be.

“What is it?” the beast says and turns around to face him. When he sees his face all doubt in his mind is swept away. The slight, delicate nose, the small mouth and the intense almond shaped eyes, the blonde piecey hair
Emotion overflows in his chest and somehow, he cries even harder than he had been before.

This whole time the beast had reminded him of the boy and it was him this whole time. From the moment he had heard that sad, lonely howl that fateful night,
something within him must have known. He supposed that he had always known, it was fate. That intimate connection he had felt immediately was always there from the start. Something he had lost and then found.
Izuku still feels a little dumbstruck and is left staring at the blonde. Kacchan rushes over to him and grabs his face.

“Did they hurt you?” he asks, running his hands over his body checking for injuries.
“It’s really Kacchan, this whole time it was really Kacchan!” Izuku cries out grasping the blonde's face in his hands.

“Deku... “ the blonde whispers out reverently.

Kacchan leans forward and sniffs him and suddenly the blonde's grip on him is so much tighter.
He can feel the man’s hard body against him and his scent lingering in his nose. It was the nostalgic, musky, campfire scent of his youth.
“Kacchan?” Izuku manages to utter before the blonde's mouth is on his own. His lips are firm and oh so hot against him and he allows the blonde access immediately.
Katsuki wasted no time deepening the kiss. His tongue sliding against his own, slick and warm. He would nibble and bite his lips before demanding access again.
It was so intense and way more intimate than anything Izuku had ever experienced before. His breaths came in more shallow and he could feel his heartbeat pounding in his chest.
It was so overwhelming, the blonde’s scent on his nose, the taste of him on his tongue and the feel of his body against him. He is reminded by the blonde’s apparent nakedness when he feels the blonde against him in his trousers.
He could feel Kacchan’s thick calloused fingers weaving their way through his hair, the blunt tips of his fingers rubbing against his scalp and shooting shivers up his spine.
“Aa-ah!” Izuku surprises himself by the sound he just released. His face feels hot and red and when he looks at Kacchan’s face and the expression on it he feels something he can’t identify in the pit of his abdomen.
He wants, he wants so much. He wants the man before him, he always had.

He hears the other man growl out and before he knows it the blonde relieving him of his clothing.
He feels the chill of the winter air with each item of clothing removed off of him but before it’s too uncomfortable the heat from Katsuki’s hands is there.
"Ka-ah!" He cries out. The blonde is kissing his neck, leaving marks as he travels down.

"Mine." He hears the blonde declare into the night air.
"Yours, ah, yours Kacchan!" Izuku assures him.

There's a heat, a need in his abdomen he's never felt before. A craving at the very core of him.
He wants something, he needs something and when he looks up to the dazed look on the blonde’s face he thinks Kacchan needs the same thing. His breaths are coming in heavy and little growls and whines keep escaping his throat.
The next thing Izuku Izuku knows he’s horizontal and the wolf is atop him and at his throat again and Izuku finds himself aflame. There is soft fur beneath him and he sinks into it. That nostalgic scent is all around him and he finds himself sinking //deeper//.
“Kacchan ah, I need-”

“I know Deku, I know.” The blonde rasps against his ear, his hot breath tickling it.
“AH!” Izuku shouts as he suddenly feels teeth in his neck. Kacchan keeps the pressure for a moment before releasing and liking his neck.
Before he can even try to think he’s being kissed again, it’s wet and hot and frantic and he’s in so deep he just pants and opens his mouth allowing the wolf to take as much as he needs.
They kiss for a couple minutes more and Izuku's left a panting, whining mess. The blonde leans back and looks over his body, he too seems lost to his lust, more beast than man now.
“Mate.” the wolf rasps out and flips Izuku onto his front. He feels the soft fur against his face and he nuzzles into it, his nose succumbing to the musky scent of the wolf.
//safe//

“Nnnn- ah!” Izuku cries out.

There’s a wet heat against his entrance and he feels it breach him. He squirms and fists the fur beneath him. It's so much and not at all enough all at once.
He feels a hand rubbing up his back to sooth him as the heat persists in its movement. It’s wet and sloppy, it feels wet all over the seam of him. It should feel gross, were it anyone else it would be but it’s not anyone else, It’s Kacchan.
The wolf keeps going, licking at him hungrily and singing his praises all the while. He feels something a little more solid enter him.
He groans out and is panting at the intrusion when he feels a hand rubbing up his back again. It’s uncomfortable for just a moment before he feels the finger press up against something within him that has him shouting out.
“Ka-ah!”

“Is that it?”

Izuku moans out harder when the intrusion starts to work relentlessly on the spot within him.
The wolf is relentless with his ministrations adding a couple more fingers and pressing up against him until Izuku is a panting, crying mess atop the pelt beneath him.
“Please, please, please.” the smaller man is begging, so lost within himself. He needs it. Exactly what he couldn’t say but he knows that Kacchan can give it to him.
“Mm, take care of you.” he hears faintly behind him before the wet heat and digits are removed. He is whining at the absence of the heat when he feels something way larger than before breaching him.
“Nnn-ah!” he whines out as inch by inch the wolf sinks into him. It’s wide and long and he feels oh so full. The insatiable need he felt before feels satiated despite the slight discomfort he feels.
The wolf gives a moment to adjust as he feels an arm around his waist and hot breath on the back of his neck.
Kacchan is whispering things like ‘mine’ and ‘mate’ against him over and over again.

Izuku cries out as the wolf bites him again and slams home within him, pushing him down into the fur underneath him.
It’s relentless and mind numbing and rubbing right up against him with each and every thrust. He cries out louder and louder each and every time as the wolf retreats and drives home viciously.
He’s so, so big and Izuku moans out again and again, he’s so loud but he can’t even think to control himself. It’s when he feels something even wider at the base of the cock start to breach
him that he grinds his teeth and whines continuously, each and it’s pushing against and rubbing right up against the spot within him and the pressure is stronger as it keeps growing /wider/.
“Mine, mine, mine” Kacchan is growling out behind him, his teeth rubbing against the sensitive skin of his neck.
It gets to the point where he doesn’t think he can take it anymore, he’s so impossibly full and he feels like he’s teetering off the edge of something when one particularly hard thrust has the intrusion fully within him and suddenly he’s thrown right off the edge.
He releases onto the fur beneath him and at the same time he feels a heat fill him as the wolf bites him again and collapses atop him, panting just as heavily as he is. Izuku feels fuller than he ever has as the heat within him continues to grow and grow.
Still he feels the most content he has ever felt in his life. Like a crevice that was in his heart his whole life was suddenly filled. Like a craving within him has been satiated and he’ll never want for more again.
Strong arms wrap around his torso and hug him to he wolfs chest as he brings them on their sides atop his pelt. Izuku’s exhausted and a content hum leaves him as thick fingers start to play with his hair again, working their way against his scalp and sending him to sleep.
He can hear the beast rumble contently behind him as he nuzzles against his neck.

//this feels like I'm home// is the last coherent thought Izuku has before his vision fades.
.
.
.

He wakes later with a start. He’s fully dressed in his cloak and all, and his body is sore all over. He blushes profusely remembering what happened the night before and eyes the body behind him. He looks as content as Izuku feels and his heart swells at the sight.
He’s back in his wolf form and sleeping soundly.
Izuku looks around and notices they are hidden in a cave somewhere. Kacchan must have spent some time looking for somewhere a little more secure after he was attacked. He reaches over and lovingly pets the sleeping beast, feeling the soft fur of his ears between his fingers.
He can’t wait to bring Kacchan home and introduce him to his mother. That will be an interesting conversation he thinks to himself.
//Hey mom I was kidnapped by foreigners but I think I found my soulmate in the process, so it all works out I guess.//
His mother, gods he missed her so much. He was so excited to see her again he couldn’t wait. He hears the wolf grumble and huff behind him as if to say “go back to sleep”.
Izuku snuggles right up into his warm soft fur and obliges him. He can’t wait to wake up this way the rest of his days.
