Rep: “Hello. How can I help you?”
Me: “Yeah, so, I have a few Apple IDs. Which one is compromised?”
Rep: “uhh.. one sec”

Omg a new scammer called back!!
Me: “Yeah so, I have a few Apple IDs, can you tell me which one was compromised?”
Rep: “One sec!”
Very long pause
Rep: “Ok, you figured it out.” (!!!)
Me: “Yay!! Do I get a prize? Candy? Send me candy!”
Rep: (laughs) “I can’t send you candy.”
Me: “Yeah so, I have a few Apple IDs, can you tell me which one was compromised?”
Rep: “One sec!”
Very long pause
Rep: “Ok, you figured it out.” (!!!)
Me: “Yay!! Do I get a prize? Candy? Send me candy!”
Rep: (laughs) “I can’t send you candy.”
New scam: "Social Security has filed a lawsuit against you!!" I pressed 1 and it was clear my number was flagged.
Me: "So, tell me about this lawsuit!!"
Rep: "…you know there's no lawsuit."
Me: "I do. Why did you take this job?"
Rep: "I lost my last job due to the pandemic."
Me: "So, tell me about this lawsuit!!"
Rep: "…you know there's no lawsuit."
Me: "I do. Why did you take this job?"

Today's scam was social security again. I wasted no time.
Me: "Get anybody today?"
Rep: "No man. I have terrible luck at this."
Me: "How's everybody else doing?"
Rep: "Pretty good. Some pretty good success."
Me: "How many folks in your room?"
Rep: "About 15 or so."

Me: "I gotta ask: how can you do this job? You scam old folks all day?"
Rep: "No way man, grandmas watch the news! *grandma voice* 'I'm not giving you any info!' It's the young folks you get with this scam. They're too busy making stupid faces on Instagram to know anything."
