Who will prevent crime?

Cops do not prevent crime. They enforce the power dynamic of the will of the state against us. It's impossible for them to prevent crime as they cannot be everywhere at once. If anything it is teachers and social workers who prevent crime by addressing

some of the emotional and social issues that can lead to crime.

How will we punish crime?

The idea of law enforcement is that people should be punished for disobedience. Crime is a state construct. Punishment is archaic. If any harm comes due to "crime" rather than looking for

punishment we should repair any damage caused and if we can attempt to prevent a recurrence. Of course this is all easy to say but impossible to know how it truly will work out. No Anarchist has a full proof plan. No Anarchist has the answer to everything.

Won't there be crime?

Most crimes are actually caused by material conditions. Poverty. Poverty forces people to supplement the little income with state assistance or low wage employment. Eliminate poverty. Most of these crimes get eliminated too. If the society we are in now

truly cared to prevent harm then they would start by examining what is the cause of why people act in such aggressive ways. Turns out that people who are poor and struggle to scrape together the essentials are more likely to turn to violence out of desperation, violence creates

more violence, causes entire neighborhoods to become run down and a population of disaffected people with no prospects become a breeding ground for organized crime, and the cycle continues. People raised in these toxic communities are more likely to suffer from anti social

personality disorders. So with the destruction of inequalities and creation of an egalitarian world where people can realize their free potential we can go on to reducing crime.

Most of these crimes are caused by their socio-economic situation. These people were not provided with the proper emotional education. They were not provided with the proper psychological help. They were probably abused as a child.

In Conclusion.

Of course I did not believe in a utopia. I know humans are far from perfect. There will always be people who wish to harm others. So that is where the responsibility of the community comes in and those who live in it. To defend itself and others in solidarity.
