Tip #1

Know your consumer

- design with intent
- age, gender, interests... go all in
- you can design for different consumers
- but each individual book should speak to 1

Ex: Lebrons shoe, is made specifically for him, others still buy it and reap the same benefits

Tip #2

Look around: know what's trending

- look at fashion
- look up hypebeast
- look at trending colors on google
- look at the new arrivals on Nordstrom
- look around Target and what's the reoccurring theme

Ex: Tie Dye print everywhere? Ok, a tie dye notebook.

Tip #3

Think outside the box

- inspiration can come from anywhere
- keep your eyes peeled at your local coffee shop
- look at popular meme pages for trending phrases

Ex: Meme pages all talking about Karens... how would you translate that into a relevant notebook?

⚠️ Bonus Tip ⚠️

On consumer:

When designing, keep them in mind, you're not always designing for you, you are designing for them. Yes, all designs should "look good" but that doesn't mean you will like them all
