In March, @FastCompany included @ChargePointnet on its list of the “10 Most Innovative Transportation Companies of 2020”, a list that opened with $TSLA.

"Charge Point has 100k charging locations... by contrast, Tesla has about 1800"

While true, this is misleading. Here's why:
Most of @ChargePointnet consists of Level 2 AC chargers. It hosts 2k DC fast-chargers in its network

$TSLA hosts nearly 10k DC chargers at 2k locations. They are still the leader in fast-charging by far

However, $SBE overall network is 2x as large in NA and 5x as large globally
The point of the comparison is that DC fast charging won't scale in congruity with EV expansion. Level 2 charging still has a place.

With just < 3% global auto share for EVs, someone plugs into @ChargePointnet every 2 seconds! As EV adoption spreads, imagine the usage & demand.
$SBE & the EV charging industry are also uniquely positioned to benefit from govt. funding initiatives

In 2016 California Energy Commission provided $4M to @ChargePointnet for a highway charging network

Recently @JoeBiden also mentioned subsidizing 500k new EV charging stations
