STORY TIME: Gather round, children! We recently noticed a very smol cat darting around the ballpark. We dubbed it Jackie Daytona (naturally) but struggled to get close enough to get a good look.

After last night's event, we left a ground up hamburger and a tray of water outside the concession stand. This morning, the meat was gone! ... So we left some cat food & water in sundae helmets. 2/
When we went back this afternoon, the food had vanished, and that helmet was knocked askew! 3/
We looked under the stands and spotted Jackie, but the poor thing again ran off as soon as we tried to approach. 4/
We followed it around the corner, peeked under the back of our merch stand and found a couple of little bitty eyes peering back at us.

Smitten, we left Jackie some bits of leftover pizza for dinner and bid her (or him?) a good night. 
We are acquiring kitty treats and toys and will keep y’all posted. 6/

No luck spotting her (we're going with her until proven otherwise, per Twitter's amateur vets) yet today, but we left her some breakfast and toys and put a few treats by her hiding spot. 8/
Earlier today, we checked and the food and treats were still there, apparently untouched. Started to worry a little.
Then this afternoon, we found a helmet/bowl out of place. Looked around and didn't see anything. Then looked down and ... 9/
