I have been meaning to get started with @OrchidProtocol.

But it does bother me that they have a #BlackLivesMatter button on their website.

VPNs are the type of organization where any kind of political influence is extremely poisonous.
Will they reveal your IP address if you say something that black lives matter considers bad? Will they keep logs and check them for racism? Will they install client updates to do so at some future time?

Perhaps a little paranoid.
But there is a signalling thing here. VPNs 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 that they're not supposed to be political organizations. And yet they still chose to do it?

It's like a candidate turning up to an interview with an open bottle of beer. What is he signalling?
"Oh, don't worry, every VPN does this"

OK, check NordVPN, ProtonVPN and ExpressVPN. Nothing political on any of them.

This is indeed a signal, and not a good one.
