One must understand Darkness before they can transmute its energy in to Light.
Being told not to do something is entirely different from understanding WHY we shouldnt do it.
Some people must be shown, in order for them to make an educated decision.
It all comes down to choice.

Lets use addiction as an example:
To someone whos never been addocted to anything, its easy to just say no.
They dont understand how someone could not understand this.
It is only by becoming addicted, our Selves, that we understand the struggles, of the addicted.

Its only by understanding those struggles, that we can help addicted individuals on a level they can work with
To preach without having walked the path is hypocracy
Only after having blazed a trail through the Darkness, can we become a shining example of overcoming our demons

A beacon of Light, that shines through the Darkness, guiding the lost "ships" of "the sea" back to solid ground.
Bringing them from the Darkness, in to the Light.
Its only by understanding our weaknesses, do we find the strength necessary to overcome them.

Sure, we're given free will.
But do most of us understand WHY?
Were given the opportunity to act on our own accord, so that we can understand WHY we shouldnt.
How many can make the sacrifices necessary, for the greater good..??
It all comes down to a personal decision.

In confronting our own demons and transmuting our own Darkness, we begin to shine our Light in to the world.
You really want to save the world?

Do not forsake lost indiviuals.
Help guide them in to the Light.

Gotta get on their level, in order to bring them up to yours.
Jesus wasnt just found in the synogogues.

Hanging out with the publicans/whores/sinners.
Because THAT is where we find those, who NEED healing.

It was the desire to hear more of the words, from that man whom they met in the bar, that brought them in to the church.
He dived in to the depths of 'Hell' in order to lift the broken, to the highest of Heavens.
So that they could share their story, of how they had come to see
