the western v global south dichotomy obscures how antiblackness transcends the position of those in the ‘global south’ who commit antiblack (gratuitous) violence which in turn paints people in the ‘global south’ as solely victims.
and tbh it also obscures how nonBlack people in the ‘global south’ who has (ontologically)-materially benefitted from black slavery which *still* goes on to this day.
my point is nonBlacks [who also come to the ‘west’] from the ‘global south’ are not necessarily benevolent—nor those who are in their own countries, because all nonBlacks/Humans, globally, benefit from antiblackness.
leftists do not want to dive into the abyss of the problem of antiblackness because it ruptures *all* leftist [or any politic(s)] logic of generalizing struggle; it could be the bourgeoisie/proletariat paradigm, the colonized/colonizer paradigm, woman/men paradigm, etc.
All of these paradigmatic positions have one thing in common—they are all in the same category of Humanness, all nonBlack people from all different paradigms are socially alive. Blacks, however, suffer from a different paradigm that is incommunicable, that is social death.
the Human defines itself as not being a slave. all of these police murders, and medical (un)attention should not be looked at through the lens as an act of discrimination—it should be viewed as a ritualistic practice that is needed for the psychic rejuvenatation of the Human race
ok i derailed into afropessimist jargon lmk if anyone has questions lol
