The thing about the Hades having no fat characters but a fat enemy type is that Ive not heard anybody else point it out. It's not the most egregious form of fatphobia, it blends in well, but we're so used to having worlds with not fat people in them that it's invisible.
Its become so that we only call this sort of stuff out when the fatphobia is really blatant or when there's a good fat character and all the games that are content to have no fatness in their world are allowed to skate by. That sucks.
If a dev team decides fatness isnt a part of their world they should have to explain why. If a Dev team decides that fatness is only part of the enemies of the world and not the heros then they should have to explain why.
The thing that makes Hades feel particularly egregious on this front is that its a game where the character art is character art, their art team could have just drawn fat people, and because its a game explicitly about "hot" people flirting with you. I guess fatness isnt hot.
