Watching a halloween film every night in October imma put it on a thread so it's easier to follow 😊
Tonight we are watching Insidious (2010)

8/10 for the jumpscares
October 2nd:
Psycho (1998) - Netflix
I will be honest, it just didnt do it for me. Vince Vaughn is not a convincing psychopath. Sometimes when comedians do horror it's super scary because they're so good at it but he was just too... vince vaughnesque
5/10
October 3rd:
The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019) - Netflix
Knowing that it's based on a true story I feel like they could have done so much more with it. The acting is stiff and the characters are weak but scary in some places I will admit 6/10
October 4th:
Pet Semetary (2019) NowTV
I feel like I would have liked this film a lot more if i hadn't read the book literally last month and loved it. If they would have said the line "Norma sucks cocks in Hell" (exorcist ref) it would be 10/10
But we'll settle for 6/10
October 5th:
The Conjuring (2013) Netflix
I really enjoy the Conjuring. It's scary, lots of suspense, plenty of jumpy moments. A classic horror 9/10
October 6th:
Vampires vs the Bronx (2020) Netflix
This is a really funny, heartwarming film about gentrification and vampires. It seems like an american version of Attack the Block (2011) and I dont hate it 8/10
October 7th:
Child's Play (2019) Netflix
Although maybe not as scary as some on the list, definitely worth a watch! Funny, gory, updated chucky
If Alexa and Chucky (1988) had a baby, it would be this film
7/10
October 8th:
Hubie Halloween (2020) Netflix
This was genuinely a terrible film.
I don't think I'm in a minority but I simply don't find bullying funny? Not only that but using mental health patients as a comical/horror plot devise is so dated & not at all acceptable in 2020
2/10
October 9th:
The Nun (2018) Prime
This film seems to key directly into my catholic upbringing to scare the shit out of me. My heart is pounding and I was on edge the entire time
9/10
October 10th:
Insidious 2 (2013) Netflix
Firstly 10/10 for the picture falling off the wall while I was watching the film.
Solid sequel, jumpy and scary in places but I didnt gel with the storyline as much as previous 7/10
