before you get on my ass about voting, did you know a lot of disabled people aren’t even ALLOWED to vote? if you have schizophrenia, autism, Down syndrome, mental illness, other disabilities—you can be barred from voting. don’t talk to me about voting until my people CAN vote !!

if you advocate for voting and you speak out about the inequalities that disabled, felons, elderly, poor and undocumented people face with voting, then awesome! im proud of you! but 99% of you don’t even recognize how inaccessible voting is for so many americans.
