While I'm a big proponent of raw meat & such, I think the idea that 'bacteria is never bad' is not correct at all

Consider the Wolf and Coyote;

Two species that can breed with one another and produce viable fertile offspring, but one eats only fresh kill, the other carrion https://twitter.com/superman3821/status/1311367567584325632
There are certainly things with fermented "high" meat that can go wrong, there is certainly a difference between rotten meat and fermented meat

Carrion is not fermented meat, carrion is rotten meat, and animals that subsist off of carion are kinda fucking loopy bc of high toxins
It certainly has some sort of neurological associations likely from all the neurotoxins contained in the carrion meat, which naturally release to break down the meat

While I will admit I think you can probably live off of 'high' meat, it is not a 'superfood' by any stretch
If you've ever fermented things, there are a lot that can go wrong, the line between rotten and fermented is thin, and it requires a specific procedure

Ironically, many inuits have died from botulism from improperly fermented meat (Kiviak) bc they can't actually eat rotten meat
People like sverige kinda seem like a 'coyote' more than a wolf, and I mean this in sortve a disparaging way

I would much rather be a wolf rather than a coyote, so I'll stick to raw meat, cured meat, and fermented meat, and skip the high meat, bc you are what you eat
I don't want to be a human carrion, frankly
