[Thread] Reality of Ashaa'irah

So I see a lot of asharis on MT attacking ahlusunnah, so I thought I'd share some of the whacky believes they secretly hold

Belief #1: The wording of the Qur'an is created!

This is based on their principle of negating Allah's actions
So according to them Allah cannot speak, because if He did, that would mean that He came with a new action.

So how did they address the problem about the speech of Allah?

They say that Allah's speech is one indivisible meaning within Himself, not made up of words or sound
So what about the Qur'an which we read? Is it not the speech of Allah?

Their answer is "well yes but actually no".

The Qur'an is an expression of the meaning within Allah. The wording is created!

They say the same about all the previous scriptures too (which is contradictory)
So where did the Arabic wording of the Qur'an come from?

The Asha'irah differed on this:

The majority said it is the wording of Jibreel

Some said it is the wording of the prophet

Others said it is created in the Lawh (which would mean it's not speech)
In fact, they differed so much about this that some of them made takfeer of each other!

Those who said it is the speech of Jibreel said the opinion that it is the speech of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is kufr, because of the ayah إن هذا إلا قول البشر
Don't believe me?
Here are quotes from the heads of the asha'irah:

1) Al Baqillani

2) Al Juwayni:
3) Al Raazi:
ج30 ص117
4) Al Eejee:

5) Al Beyjouri:

6) Al Bouti:

These are just a few examples
Why is this belief problematic?

For one, it is in direct opposition to many ayaat, such as Allah speaking to Musa

And to the angels
And when creating Adam
And when speaking to some of His creation on the day of judgement

And refusing to speak to other creation

All of this is impossible if Allah's speech is one meaning within Himself
Also, Allah clearly mentions that the Qur'an which we hear is His speech in the ayah

But the ashaa'irah say that it isn't really the speech of Allah, it is only an "expression" of His speech
If the wording of the Qur'an is not Allah's speech, then how would it be any different to the hadeeths, which are the wordings of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, but the meaning is also from Allah?

Was the event of the mihna of Imam Ahmed and the death of those salaf pointless?
Some extreme ashaa'irah would even kick the mushaf and mistreat it, claiming that it is not really the speech of Allah, so it isn't sacred!

May Allah protect us from such misguidance
