So I'll be comparing them in these categories:

• Dribbling
• Creativity
• Who played with worse players
• Outputs
• Goalscoring/Finishing
• Who was more *Clutch*
• Who was more important to their team
• Who achieved more in their season
1) Dribbling:

Hazard : Sanchez

Dribbles = 4.20 : 3.03
Dribbles Success = 67% : 68%
Fouled = 3.19 : 1.95

Even though Alexis was a good dribbler, Hazard was the best in the league.
2) Creativity:

Hazard : Sanchez

Key Passes = 3.01 : 2.17
Big Chances Created = 0.55 : 0.28
Assists = 0.46 : 0.28
xA = 0.35 : 0.25

Hazard is clearly the better creator.

Hazard that year was a creative monster and ended up winning the play maker award.
3) Who played with worse players:

Hazard's attacking teammates:

Pedro = 10 G/A
Willian = 9 G/A
RLC = 8 G/A
Morata = 5 G/A

Total = 32 G/A

Alexis attacking teammates:

Ozil = 17 G/A
Giroud = 15 G/A
Walcott = 12 G/A
Ox = 9 G/A

Total = 53 G/A

So Hazard played with worse players
4) Outputs:

Alexis: 24G,10A
Hazard: 16G,15A

Both got a G/A every 95 mins.

But Sanchez played 52% of his games as a ST compared to Hazard's 21%.

So as a winger Hazard got a G/A every 96 mins while Sanchez got a G/A every 111 mins.

So Hazard had better Ouput in his prime.
5) Goalscoring/Finishing:

Alexis scored every 135 mins. Hazard scored every 183 mins.

As a winger Alexis still out scored Hazard with:

Alexis scoring every 155 mins. Hazard scoring every 178 mins.

So Alexis was the better Goalscorer.
5) Goalscoring/Finishing:

In terms of finishing Sanchez scored 35% more goals than expected compared to Hazard who scored 30% more than expected.

Both were brilliant finishers in their Prime but Sanchez was the better finisher as well.
6) Clutch/Big Game Player:

Hazard's goals won Chelsea 13pts which is 0.81pts/goal. Sanchez's goals won Arsenal 11pts which is 0.46pts/goal.

44% of Hazard's goal were the first goal in the game, to Sanchez's 42%.

But 33% of Sanchez's goals were winning goals to Hazard's 31%.
6) Clutch/Big Game Player:

Goals/Assists vs Big 6:

Hazard = 9
Sanchez = 6

So from these stats, Hazard was the more clutch player and impacted more in the games vs the Big 6.
7) Who was more important to their team:

Hazard provided 49% of Chelsea's goals in the PL.

Alexis provided 44% of Arsenal's goals in the PL.

Hazard won his team more points than Alexis, while playing with worse players.

Hazard carried Chelsea more than Alexis did Arsenal.
8) Who achieved more that season:

• Hazard helped Chelsea to 3rd while Alexis took Arsenal to 5th.

• Both won their teams a trophy, Alexis - Fa Cup, Hazard - Europa league and both scored, with Hazard scoring a brace.

Overall Hazard achieved more in his prime year.
Conclusion:

In their primes:

• Hazard was/had: better output as a winger, better creator, more clutch, played with worse players, was more important to Chelsea, achieved more.

• Alexis was: better goalscorer/finisher.

So as you can see Hazard in his prime was better.
