/After 9/11 attacks whole world faced severe terrorism started under umbrella of Al Qaida.
IN Xinjiang there were several camps operated by ETIM-a terrorist group established in collaboration with Al Qaida to separate east turkistan through carryout brutal attacks in Xinjiang,
/A leading member of ETIM, explains about the meeting with Usama bin Ladin in 1997, where they discussed to seek help from Al Qaida for ETIM movement to train Uighur recruits to start practically offensive attacks in Xinjiang against China in guise of separation movement,
/ETIM misguided & manipulated Uighur youth through deliberate religious misconceptions, ETIM used religion as tool to spread separatism, extremism &hatred among Uighurs &started to transfer young Uighurs to Afghanistan for armed trainings, mostly in guise of studies abroad.
/After training in Afghanistan when ETIM fresh recruits returned to Xinjiang, they started ETIM training camps in different parts of Xinjiang to give training locally to create insurgency in different parts of region to separate Xinjiang from China through terrorism& extremism,
/Increasing activities of ETIM & extremist groups in Xinjiang created huge law&order situation &new challenges for China to counter rapid radicalization of Uighur youth, these groups were targeting the most vulnerable financially weak & extremist Uighurs to achieve their goals,
/In this situation, after deep research on root causes &international flight against terrorism, China responded with a practical plan & comprehensive measures to tackle situation with education& skills development plans, to rescue Uighur population from deep conspiracy of ETIM.
/Fact speaks louder than words, China's Xinjiang is peaceful&harmonious today, not faced a single terrorist incident during last 3years &only this fact is enough to reflect effectiveness of the concrete measures central&regional govts adopted in Xinjiang.
