Things to know about Encore:

Eminem’s fifth studio album released in 2004. The album was meant to be released but came out early because the album was leaked. At the time of recording, Eminem considered this to be his final album.
1.Curtains Up

Starts off with Eminem getting ready to go on stage. Mic checking and you hear the audience chanting get louder.
2.Evil Deeds

Eminem talks about his upbringing, Fame, and his personal life. This beat is great, the chorus is different but I like it. Eminem touches on interesting subjects. Dope.
9/10
3.Never Enough Feat. 50 Cent & Nate Dogg

This track is about rap competition, feuds, and legacy. This era involved a lot of beef involving 50 and Em so this track makes sense. Nate kills the chorus, groovy. Production is decent too. Another dope track.
9/10
4.Yellow Brick Road

Eminem reminisces his life and addresses the Benzino controversy on this track. Decent chorus, nothing special tho. Production is great on this track. Great storytelling verses from Eminem tho.
9/10
5. Like Toy Soldiers

Eminem talks about his rap beef and how he doesn't want it to go too far, a great message to stop the violent antics that beef incites. The sampling chorus and production are outstanding. Eminem kills the verses too.
10/10
6.Mosh

A political protest song during the awful bush presidency. A great rebellious track and vibe. The chorus is hard, very defiant, and poetic. Love the beat again. This is fantastic.
10/10
7.Puke

This track is about his troubles with ex-wife Kim, apparently, she makes him puke. The intro and outro to this track are disgusting. The chorus isn't that good, so is the rapping sadly. The production is great tho which is a shame.
2/10
8. My 1st Single

This track doesn't have a subject. The chorus and sound effects are awful. Everything about this track is bad. Eminem's rapping is alright but the chorus is so annoying. Really bad.
1/10
9.Paul (Skit)

Classic Paul skit, talking about how pissed Michael Jackson is about "Just Lose It". Also says that he heard that Eminem bought a gun and wants to check in on him, an important detail for the concept.
10.Rain Man

A track about nothing again, not a big problem for me tho. This track is so random but it's pretty funny. The production is so good. The chorus is great. Definitely weird, but I like it.
7/10
11.Big Weenie

Eminem basically being random while also dissing Benzino and Ja Rule. The beat is so hard again but the chorus is not good at all. Verses from Em are OK tho, pretty funny.
5/10
12.Em Calls Paul (Skit)

Autotuned Eminem responds and references Michael Jackson hilariously while pooping. Eminem has an idea on how to end the show and claims he doesn't have a gun
13.Just Lose It

A hilarious track where Eminem continues to take a jab at celebrities in this comedic track. The production is track is fantastic. The chorus is funny and catchy. Hilarious verses from Em too.
8/10
14.A** Like That

A club track from Eminem. The accent on this track is a little odd but the lyrics are definitely weirder. I get that he is impersonating Triumph the insult dog, still odd tho. The chorus is passable and the beat is good.
5/10
15.Spend Some Time Feat. Obie, Stat, & 50

This track discusses love and heartbreak. The production is really beautiful on this track. Chorus is decent. Features give good verses, Eminem kills it. The beautiful production could've been utilized better but not bad at all.
8/10
16.Mockingbird

A message to Eminem writes to his daughters. A beautiful and sincere track. The chorus is beautiful and the piano production is lovely and emotional. A perfect track.
10/10
17.Crazy In Love

Eminem talks about his crazy and toxic relationship with Kim. Eminem chooses to sing for the entirety with the same melody, not a fan of it. The production and sample are beautiful again. Should have swapped this with 'Love You More'
5/10
18. One Shot 2 Shot Feat. D-12

This track depicts D12 experiencing a shootout in the middle of a club. This track is absolutely hilarious. Each member brings a different perspective of the shootout. The chorus is bouncy, production is great.
10/10
19. Final Thought (Skit)

You can hear the audience chanting, Eminem rips a paper and walks towards it while cocking a gun 😮
Words are whispered as well.
20.Encore/Curtains Down

This club track feels like the last act of a show, perfect for the concept. Dr. Dre and 50 Cent kill the parts they're in. Chorus and details making it feel like the last act is so dope. The album ends with the audience chanting Eminem.--
9/10
- Eminem says"Almost forgot", you hear him fire shots at the crowd, the audience screams and runs. He shoots himself and you hear an autotuned "see you in hell", the show ends. The concept completed well.
21.We As Americans

The start of the deluxe, a political track like mosh. The production is great, the chorus is clean and dope. Eminem kills the verses as per. Very rebellious track and Eminem is good at making those.
9/10
22. Love You More

A classic toxic relationship track that Eminem loves to do. Em kills the verses, should've been on the album instead of 'Crazy In Love'. Perfectly depicts toxicity. The production and chorus are perfect. His best toxic song.
10/10
23.Ricky Ticky Toc

Eminem talks about growing up, 50 Cent, and Dr. Dre. No chorus on this track. This track is short and sweet. The production is alright and the verses are good and insightful on Eminem's experiences during those times.
8/10
Encore Last Thoughts and Rating:

The concept is controversial but executed well. The album does have a sound, it's not for everyone. I'm surprised to have liked it as much as I did. This album has really bad tracks, but it shouldn't take away from the great parts too.
7.5/10
