There’s been plenty of evidence Matt Reeves is using The Long Halloween as inspiration for #TheBatman. I think this inspiration goes further than just the inclusion of a serial killer plot and a Halloween setting.
The Long Halloween features an homage to The Silence of The Lambs. When Batman is struggling to catch the Holiday killer, he visits a Hannibal Lecter styled version of Calendar Man, at Arkham Asylum.

I doubt we will see Calendar Man in #TheBatman.

Instead I think they will replace Calendar Man's role in The Long Halloween with Joker.

A Hannibal Lecter version of Joker is such a great way to revitalize him in the wake of so many live action Jokers.
If we assume Joker in The Batman fills a similar role to Calendar Man in TLH, or Hannibal in SoTL, it begs the question… what does he know about the #Riddler that could help #Batman catch him? I have my theories, what are yours?
