While we're getting ready for #WWERaw tonight how about I do a thread that is a follow-up to Asuka's redemption which now become Asuka's path to glory so buckle up folks it's going to be a long one
Four months ago Becky Lynch has announced that she's leaving WWE but not without giving us the fans one last surprise on her sleeve. And that's giving Asuka the #WWERaw women's title and that's a huge responsibility for Asuka to fill in Becky has passed the torch to Asuka
But there's pressure especially to be the face of the company and it's not easy Asuka's first feud is Nia Jax and believe me this involves Nia Jax almost end Kairi Sane and at Backlash it end in a double count out and the following night Asuka was lucky to beat Nia
Charlotte Flair is Asuka's next feud and we all know it's going to end badly but unfortunately Asuka beat Charlotte Flair even though she was I would say 75% hurt but at least their match wasn't spectacular than their last two title matches
Then we got Asuka's biggest threat Sasha and Bayley aka The Golden Role Models they've been a major threat to Asuka starting at Extreme Rules they got away with the RAW women's title and then Sasha won the RAW women's title by a count out finish like WTF 🤦🏾‍♂️
So people like me and @BrianSwiftie13 are hoping to see Asuka back to her old person at Summer Slam last month. But everyone is upset that the feud is pointless and don't have a proper ending or why Asuka didn't avenge Kairi Sane because the feud is mainly about Asuka and Sasha
Tonight we're going to get Asuka vs Mickie James for the #WWERaw women's title and apparently they should've saved this match at #ClashOfChampions but instead the hype for this match has mixed feelings even I'm not sure if Mickie James doesn't deserve a title in 2020
So here's my take on Asuka's run with the RAW women's title I know that the first time was a total bust not only because of Nia Jax constantly hurting Kairi Sane but she has to face the three members of the four Horsewomen Asuka beat Charlotte to retain the title
But when we got to Asuka vs the golden role models it's all over the place it's all about Sasha and Bayley building up their own storyline. I'm not upset about it but it's a good thing that Asuka won the RAW women's title back but the only way to get the feud between Shayna
Is to build Asuka again I don't care about how she booked as a heel or a face or how she's booked like she was in NXT. At least she got herself over during this pandemic like @BrianSwiftie13 WWE can't book their foreign talent to save themselves give Asuka creative freedom
Besides Asuka is the most entertaining Superstar in WWE since days of The Rock or John Cena. While everyone else is one dimensional someone has to fill in that gray area like John Cena did that tweener role we can't change who she is or what she do
That's why I recommend to watch @valonpllana video about Asuka before throwing some negative thoughts about her. Because who knows she might surprise us with that persona change
For five years Asuka has been the most entertaining Superstar and now for the first time Asuka is getting all the attention ever since Becky want to work with Asuka Becky kinda feel bad for Asuka and she wants to undo what the WWE done with Asuka two years ago and last year
So that's pretty much my thread about Asuka and her path to glory I know it's not the path we didn't want the first time but on her second run it will be an improvement from the first attempt four months ago. Asuka is in a better place not a perfect place but a better place
So balls in your court #WWE and #WWEUniverse your move because everyone wants Asuka to be a champion so make her one. We have enough of the false endings and screwy finishes for long enough it's 2020 and we need someone to fill Becky's position as the face of the company
Well everyone it's almost time for #WWERaw and that women's title match tonight. So like I said Asuka may not be in a perfect place but a better place Ball's in your court #WWE and #WWEUniverse we're watching. And that concludes my thread folks
Well I'm going to continue this thread because this weekend is not only #WWEClash but it also Asuka's birthday and yesterday was her partner Kairi's birthday. So this thread is going continue because I want to express my support for Asuka
Not only as a champion but as wrestler as a whole. Well everyone was excited for the match been wanted between Asuka and Mickie James but it ended in an odd way so we got Zelina Vega and she got something and honestly I don't think she'll last long against Asuka in a title match
So this past Monday we got Zelina Vega challenging Asuka for the RAW women's title at #WWEClash and the most odd thing about the match it's on the kickoff show and people were not happy AT ALL I'm not going to give away any names but some people are just taking it too far
Especially when it comes to Asuka being a kickoff match in a PPV and were not counting the women's battle Royale match at WrestleMania 35 because people are already crapping on it so many times that I don't want to look back
Apparently a good friend of mine @Deoden1231 did watch Asuka competed in WWE main event during the earlier part of the performance center era so it's not a death sentence for her Asuka always finds way of turning a negative into a positive every single day
Even my good friend @THFC_Darryl_WWE even said that no matter where she's being in a PPV whether it's a kickoff match or a main event match Asuka always retains the RAW women's title. Because he's support Asuka no matter how booked Asuka is throughout this year
There's people who also support Asuka there's @jonestom121 @bexmode @Kier_Johnson97 @Kana_AsukaSPA @BoomMighty @StephanieHypes @ShinoDPhoenix sure there's some people who express their frustrations about Asuka but we're express our support about Asuka as a whole
So like I said this weekend is not only #WWEClash but it also Asuka's birthday so I got the perfect hastag to support Asuka and I hope Becky and Kairi will like to it's called #WeAreWithYouAsuka how about we get that trending over the weekend ?
Alright that concludes my thread on Asuka because I just want to continue to express my support for Asuka because I don't want to see these frustrations to continue to get out of hand because it's not worth our time sometimes we want to focus on our lives than being on Twitter
Enjoy your afternoon and evening because I got to focus on my life and other things because I don't want my mental health and physical health go to waste over Wrestling
Alright #WWERaw is on the air and of course I have to continue my thread on Asuka before it goes off so I better get started very quick and fast. So after reading the three articles for the past couple of months I decided to put them in my thread as an important part
Asuka is implementing ideas to Vince McMahon on how to make the WWE Universe such as colorful costumes, speaking Japanese and performance using Nioh masks. The people in the company including Vince liked it and the WWE Universe even enjoyed too
And the last part of the the second article and to be honest Asuka wanted to be a positive influence to the #WrestlingCommunity and I'm glad that everyone is being inspired by Asuka's performance on television
So that's concludes on my updated thread on Asuka I have to keep it short and sweet because I don't want to be THAT long so enjoy the rest of #WWERaw tonight and I'll see you next time
And also talked about the stuff before her YouTube channel got started Asuka did fell into three categories that was insulting historically in the WWE: People who doesn't speak English as their first language,Women and Asians. However Asuka managed to bounce back one year ago
After winning the women's tag team titles so time has passed and where we are now with the pandemic still going on but 7 months ago on the March 16th episode of #WWERaw where Steve Austin made his appearance. One of highlights of that episode was Andrade fought Rey Mysterio
And Asuka is on commentary a lot of people are talking about Asuka being on commentary than talking about the match. The pandemic era of Wrestling did regain Asuka's status as the top star of the company she didn't regaining the aura she has when she was undefeated 5 years ago
So throughout this year Asuka has become a top tier entertainer and competitor so I know that fans are still upset about Asuka's questionable booking but in the end Asuka has been entertaining everyone throughout this pandemic
So tomorrow come the #WWEDraft Asuka got some new challengers but she does made some new friends ever since Kairi Sane left but The Kabuki Warriors are still in touch with each other on social media. For example back in the summer Asuka made friends with Bliss and Cross
And this past week on #WWERaw she made friends with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke her #SexyMuscleFriends which is funny and awesome. She's going to need a lot of friends to help her get to WrestlerMania 37 in 2021 because Becky is still counting on Asuka to be a warrior she envision
And that's the finale of my thread on expressing my support for Asuka it's been a good way to express my support for Asuka after the past two years of being mishandled but after proving herself that she can be reliable and trustworthy person she doesn't care about ratings
Or demos or any of that all Asuka cares about is the fans and her friends so to quote the Nostradamus of Wrestling @365Wrestle that "Asuka is the most entertaining Superstar and complete characters in Wrestling regardless of gender"
@TWrestlingGirls @fowl_original @ringsiderant_RJ @PhilDL616 @danthegrapsfan @bexmode @danthegrapsfan @deadlydayno @sharonlee25 @Shadowdemon201 @Jason_Gilliam05 @RosePlanted_ hope you read my thread I did put some effort into this thread for the past few days
Alright time for me to do a bonus thread I thought I can do it regarding Kairi's future but I decided to do one more tidbit about Asuka and that's storytelling I know a lot of people who pretty much upset about Asuka's booking and why isn't she in a feud or a storyline
And I'm not doing this bonus thread not because I'm a fan of Asuka but I'm also a fan of Wrestling and of course there's been a lot of people are pretty much becoming more and more impatient and more frustrating when it comes to WWE and the lack of storytelling to other talent
So here's my question to you @Drarham2 @BrianSwiftie13 @RosePlanted_ @Kana_AsukaSPA @A_LEXonYT @THFC_Darryl_WWE @xwickedmindx @BoomMighty @slate_s42 @jonestom121 @deadlydayno @bexmode @ekowrestling88 what's more important to you long-term storytelling or long term feuds ?
When I look at long term feuds I look at John Cena and Edge best feud of 2006 it's pretty much my favorite feud or the longest feud in Trish Stratus and Mickie James best feud in the history of the Women's division or Batista vs King Booker second best in 2006
Those feuds back in the aggression era has great Storytelling and character development so I invest my time in watching these feuds going on television before I discovered Wrestling terms on YouTube I was enjoying Wrestling like crazy
Long-term storytelling is pretty much my thing one of my favorites is Daniel Bryan main event WrestlerMania 30 Daniel Bryan want to main event the show he even hold RAW hostage which is the best moments in the history of RAW so not only that Bryan became the No. 1 contender
But he also won the main event of WrestlerMania 30 or some of my other favorite storylines and that's John Cena and Bray Wyatt and we're going to get the comparisons later on John Cena beat Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30 but six years later WrestlerMania 36 Funhouse match
Between Cena and Bray Wyatt where we see everything that Cena SHOULD'VE done a new NWO,Cena should've turn heel but after all crazy things in that Firefly Funhouse match Bray Wyatt have finally broken John Cena and beat him
Long-term feuds and long-term storytelling are great in Wrestling and I enjoy watching ever single moment. Now in the case of Asuka I've seen a lot of people are upset about that there's no storyline or feud for her but Asuka's feuds ended pretty easily like her feud with Vega
But her feud Sasha and Bayley back in the summer is endless on RAW on NXT on SmackDown it's crazy I consider my favorite storyline and feud this year along with Becky vs Asuka it began with Becky wanted to leave because of contract problems
But it turns out that Becky is actually helping out Asuka all this time in kayfabe I might add. So I'm glad that Becky is helping out in a selfless manner and I'm glad that Asuka is having fun and enjoying the best year she has (even though we're in a middle of a pandemic)
So in conclusion to this bonus thread I know that we want Asuka to be at her best to be the RAW women's champion but sometimes I just want to sit back and see her perform on television and then afterwards I'll have my thoughts on said show
So pretty much this is my bonus thread on expressing my support for Asuka I just wanted to do this bonus thread because I know a lot of people are becoming impatient and frustrated about Asuka's booking for the past two years so yeah that's my bonus thread enjoy your night folks
It's time for another bonus thread on expressing my support for Asuka because tomorrow is #WWERaw and of course Asuka is going to defend the #WWERaw women's title against Lana I know it's a shock but I'm really interested in this match I know that everyone is mocking her today
But I say give Lana a chance to show us what she can do in the ring and I know that everyone wants Lana to win but I don't think it's her time yet. Still I'm interested in this match tomorrow night wether fans like the outcome or not
So I don't mind if Asuka have an awesome match with Lana I mean it would've been nice to see a continuation between Asuka and Zelina Vega I mean Zelina is a real threat with the evil intentions and how sneaky she is but since Zelina drafted to #SmackDown we got a new start on RAW
So throughout the week we got this back and forth between Asuka and Lana and this is one Asuka natural traits and that's playing around and get into the head of her opponents and not making them serious threats to her that explains why Asuka is brilliant and smart
Great Storytelling and character development I like that from Asuka and that's how's storytelling is especially if said feud is a one-off story it makes said opponent that Asuka is facing looks great in the ring I know that the promo Lana did wasn't real at the end is funny
So what @Kanacityes said Lana may not be the best wrestler in terms of skill but her acting is sets her apart from the other women on the main roster so before and after tomorrow night don't make mean comments towards Lana she's looking forward to face Asuka in a REAL match
If you want further proof that Lana is READY for Asuka tomorrow night watch a clip from Miro him and Lana are huge fans of Asuka. Asuka not only touch the hearts of many fans but also wrestlers too
Asuka was even on the top five on this year's #PWI100 women's Wrestlers this week. In the end Wrestling is a sport Asuka is not hurting Lana's feeling throughout the week she's motivating Lana to prove that she's ready for Asuka. It maybe a one-off storyline but it's going to fun
Now in terms of other storylines or feuds I would like to see Charlotte to come back but after seeing she got plans of her own regarding Andrade it seems like we'll never have that true ending between Asuka and Charlotte anytime soon
I would have Lacey Evans on my list of feuds for Asuka but the last thing we got to see are random references to World War II like the bombing of Hiroshima or worst the bombing of Pearl Harbor I do NOT want that in my mind especially in 2020 it'll insult our intelligence
Peyton Royce will probably be a throwback to her and Asuka's days back at #WWENXT but minus the siren of #SmackDown Billie Kay she'll probably be a star on her own like I said it's going to be a throwback feud between Asuka and Peyton and I want to see how Peyton improve
But the BIG storyline I pretty much want to see and that's Asuka saving Alexa Bliss from The Fiend. So you probably remember the moment from Extreme Rules this when Alexa,Asuka and Kairi motivating Nikki Cross backstage and the end of that moment Kairi said we will be friends
And it dawned on me what if The Fiend turned Alexa Bliss and the only person that could save her is not Braun Strowman or Nikki Cross but Asuka after all the hard work that Asuka did throughout this year throughout the pandemic all lead up to this moment Asuka saving her friend
From the clutches of a monster disguised as a host of a children's show I know it's a bad idea for Alexa Bliss too get a title THAT early during her evolution but it's a big shot for Asuka to save Alexa because Braun is too dumb and Nikki Cross is very worried
So that's why I'm pretty much want Asuka in a storyline to save a friend rather than putting her title on the line while her friend is being possessed by The Fiend. So yeah that's pretty much what I want to see with Asuka post WWE Draft 2020
This concludes my second bonus thread on expressing my support for Asuka the #HeroOfTomorrow because we're all here for Asuka as #WWERaw women's champion the best that she is
Alright time for me to do another thread on expressing our support for Asuka and this time it's pretty much on storylines now we all know that we're almost three months and everyone is pretty much upset that there's no storyline for Asuka since Summer Slam and fans are upset
And they're even more upset that Asuka doesn't have a match last weekend people like @clarissa_del20 @Kana_AsukaSPA & @Deoden1231 are not upset about and that's how like people who are positive about it they don't care about a storyline she's just having a time of her life
And it dawned on me what if the real storyline for Asuka is to redeem herself ? I know that we're almost six months removed from Becky being pregnant and yes Asuka's first run as RAW women's champion but despite the bad booking and all but hey at least Asuka elevate the division
She's giving more women their time to shine on RAW than herself there's Alexa Bliss being The Fiend's friend on the Firefly Funhouse or Shayna and Nia as they now feuding with Asuka's sexy muscle friends Mandy and Dana besides Asuka did got herself over throughout this year
Throughout the early parts of the pandemic Asuka has gotten herself more over than everyone else and of course made her more entertaining during these empty arena shows but since we're now at the ThunderDome Asuka is pretty much having a great time https://whatculture.com/amp/wwe/how-asuka-has-become-wwes-highlight-in-the-empty-arena-era?__twitter_impression=true
Before I get to the topic on how social media ruined Wrestling I want to say something before I get to it. We enjoy Asuka having fun on Twitter whether it's to get herself over or further a feud her Twitter game is by far entertaining than everyone else on the main roster
However I enjoy the content she's having it's more family friendly and entertaining. And to be honest we enjoy her in the ring or her YouTube channel and she's getting some sponsors and recognized by mainstream media like @Crunchyroll because of her love for anime and manga
So before I get to my conclusion I highly recommend you watch this recent video by @valonpllana on why social media is ruining Wrestling from it's pros and cons because it's good knowledge to some of the wrestling community
In conclusion it doesn't matter if Asuka has a boring title run or not or she doesn't have a feud or storyline what I'm saying is this Asuka throughout this year is redeeming herself after all the mess WWE done for the past two years they tried their best to push Asuka
And it backfired right in front of Vince's face so yeah we all have to blame creative because of those poor creative choices. But right now we're still in the middle of a pandemic and Asuka is the only constant to keep everyone entertained whether if is a match or a segment
There's no reason for us to get upset about Asuka's booking in the end we're here to be entertained not to debate if she's Underrated or overrated or her title run is boring we're happy to have someone that entertain us throughout this pandemic
And that concludes my bonus thread on expressing our support for Asuka hopefully you'll understand this enjoy your #HalloweenAtHome
Alright folks I was thinking about doing a thread on wrestlers acknowledging and respect Asuka but for this week I decided to touch upon a topic that caught my attention a couple of months ago and that's the difference between Wrestling fans and Wrestling stans
The word stan used in a positive way and a negative way. How it relates to Asuka in some form of fashion well some people like her while everyone else pretty much hate others like Vince McMahon or Charlotte Flair and I'm going to do a deeper dive into this topic
So I like myself and many other Wrestling fans love watching wrestling we just want to have a good time and have fun but when you look at the other side of the wrestling fandom and there's some toxic and depressing Wrestling fans who obsessed to see their favorite and call quits
We the positive Wrestling stans just wanted to enjoy watching wrestling while the negative Wrestling stans protest and threatening writers, creative and demanding like crazy it did happen like this on other forms of media
And of course you have to an open mind instead of being all negative because there are some times that fans can go overboard when it comes to Wrestling some of us are mentally stable and some of us don't because trust me I'm a nice guy and I don't protest like a madman
There's also others who enjoy Wrestling like @WrestlingFan84 he loves Wrestling and he's really serious about it he's trying to give the wrestling community a reality check so yeah that's how a real Wrestling fan to enjoy Wrestling
But the question is how do Wrestling stans has to do with Asuka ? Well it's all started back in WrestlerMania 34 we all know the story Asuka lose to Charlotte Flair and everyone has went on an outburst however everyone thought Asuka is going to do great things last year
In the first half of last year in reality no there were a ton Asuka stans are becoming more and more negative and toxic throughout the first half and second half of last year but the last part of 2019 was very entertaining and exciting
So that's sums up on stans both good and bad and how Asuka fits in all of this because the stans just want to see her on television than the other wrestlers
So here are some videos about Wrestling stans and these people have some valid points I highly recommend you watch it and have your thoughts and opinions on it
There's also another YouTube video on Wrestling stans and their opinions are humorous but they also got valid points as well
So that ends on this week's thread on expressing my support for Asuka as a Wrestling fan
Alright with #SurvivorSeries coming up this weekend I say it's time I wrap up this series of threads on expressing my support for Asuka as a Wrestling fan instead I just want to throw in something special for the Sasha Banks and Bayley fans because they deserve some credit too
So for this thread I'm calling it the best of the best of greatest of Asuka,Sasha Banks and Bayley how we support them as wrestling fans in 2020 because this thread is a definitely a long one because I'm definitely going to find some videos when I do the Asuka thread
Bayley have an amazing 2020 her heel character have shown some improvements and she has an amazing run with the SmackDown women's title and the women's tag team titles and of course Bayley and Sasha (we'll get to her) have a great summer along with Asuka (we'll get to her too)
She's been in great feuds earlier this year from Lacey Evans,Naomi, Carmella and now Sasha Banks and to be honest this is the best version of Bayley ever since she's been called up to the main roster however ever since losing the SmackDown women's title to Sasha
Everyone is thinking what's next for Bayley is she's going to be the team captain for the women's #SurvivorSeries team representing SmackDown or continue pursuing Sasha Banks for the SmackDown women's title well time will tell come after #SurvivorSeries (3/3)
And that's concludes part one of my thread on the best of the best to the greatest how we support Asuka,Sasha Banks and Bayley in 2020 tomorrow I'm going to be talking about THE BOSS and star of #TheMandalorian Sasha Banks and it's an interesting thread toot toot Kabuki Warriors
