The LA police shooting is a case study on not only how the right wing echo chamber distorts an event to fit their narrative but how they apparently use it to inflame.

Two police officers are ambushed and shot in LA. The @LASDHQ tweets this at 3:02 AM...

Almost 6 hours later, right wing propagandist and photojournalist @MrAndyNgo quotes police as saying that "crowds of protestors" were present at the hospital.

2 hours later, South Florida U.S. Senator @marcorubio also amplifies the @LASDHQ information in a tweet and uses the hashtag #wehopetheydie to give it maximum visibility.

And so here's an actual video of those protestors...

Why did @LASDHQ feel the need to communicate to these protestors through Twitter? Why did they include an inflammatory quote in that com & all cap certain text? I think we all know the answer.

The police, Ngo, and Rubio all know what happens when gas is poured on a fire.

This, too... https://twitter.com/Rschooley/status/1305182865101959168
And, finally, let's be real clear here: The possibility that the @LASDHQ took the opportunity to exploit the shooting of 2 law enforcement officers to inflame the community is as reprehensible as the actions of those individuals taunting police at the hospital.
