stop using the phrase "coming out" for cishets who are simply not hiding their relationship anymore. they don't have to fear for their safety & literal LIVES like members of the lgbtq+ community do.
also cishet "allies" need to remember that they live in an entirely different world than us. Idc how much they think "it shouldn't be this way, anyone should be able to love whoever they want in public" well it is ~this~ way & we cant do that. help us instead of acting like....
homophobes & transphobes don't exist because you "aren't homophobic or transphobic"
also while we are at it....u have literally no idea what someone is going through or experiencing. invalidating/brushing something off like its not a big deal to someone just bc its not a big deal to YOU personally is shitty....
dont expect ppl to open up & tell u things about themselves or how they are feeling if you're just going to minimize & gaslight them lmfao
