Back from the mountains.

Reenergized & Refocused.

I also got to thinking about what holds people back from growing their business.

I realized it’s usually 3 things.

A SHORT thread for those who have hit a plateau...
1. Environment

You can’t put a price-tag on an environment that energizes you, because energy is the fuel of high performers.

I recently paid a 25% premium for a new pad, because I felt instantly energized in it.

I plan on buying a place in the mountains soon as well.
Reason this is so important is because...when your business hits a plateau, it’s usually because the business owner is stuck in a rut.

They aren’t inspired.

Environment is one of the best ways to kickstart your state, and get unstuck.

If it doesn’t energize you, move.
2. Stepping OUT of your business is how you achieve clarity & directional certainty.

You might know this.

But are you doing it?

My clearest thinking is when I’m up here in the mountains, drink & cigar in hand, admiring nature’s beauty.

Not thinking about business.
Because when you aren’t thinking about your business, is typically when business ideas will come to you.

I like to think of this as a subconscious flow state — you’re focused on energy replenishment, so naturally ideas flow to you related to things you want.

Make sense?
3. You’re setting your goals too small.

I got to thinking:

Why do people not burst past plateaus & crush their goals?

Because their vision doesn’t pull them towards it...I see it as going like this:

Vision

Motivation

Drive

Consistency
If your vision isn’t polarizing enough, isn’t congruent with who you are and what you want...

...you with have the motivation to be ruthlessly consistent, or to innovate to break past plateaus.

It’s honestly that simple.

This goes back to part 2 (clarity & certainty).
But anyways...

That’s all I wanted to write about.

If you’re struggling with anything business related, I honestly believe it can be solved by adhering to these 3 lessons.

They’re usually the solutions to my problems anyways🙏🏻
