(2) A good lead knows what you are capable of and hires you for that reason and will work with your strengths. This work/creative relationship 9/10 will blossom and instead of having a "contractor" you will have a disciple.

If a lead ever starts planting seeds in your head about your "competition" then you need to seriously re-evaluate working with them.
