At 8pm on Friday 10 September 1920, a group of locals met and decided to start a club despite having no kit or equipment

The team began by playing their rugby on a local farmer's field by the sea
And in 1927 the club's colours were chosen which are still worn today...

The club moved to their new home in And over the next few decades they expanded, setting up a women's side and a huge minis and juniors section...

From their senior men's and women's teams all the way down to their minis, Worthing RFC has become one of the most successful in Sussex
