I understand why curiosity drives many Muslims to consume anti-Islamic content.

It starts off with: I want to be fair to myself, so I want to give the other point of view a chance. If I am upon truth, then I have nothing to worry about.

Many Muslims, especially the youth, are quite impressionable. Hearing the other side presenting an argument that they've never come across can be too much to handle.

One may be gifted with intellect, but without those important foundations, shubuhat can easily overwhelm. 2/4
Don't get me wrong, this can be said about non-Muslims too. Do you think that the average non-Muslim can deal with the seasoned Muslim apologist?

If you had your doubts, a quick browse through some Hyde Park videos will quickly dispel those. Alhamdulillah. 3/4
So what is the solution for the young impressionable Muslim?

Learn your deen from Muslims.
Learn your deen from your scholars.
Learn your deen from those that dedicated their lives to it.

Don't learn it from Islamophobes, Orientalists, or Zanadiqa. 4/4
