1. Real Madrid: Vinicius Jr (LW)
Vinicius has gone from strength to strength and then some. He has freakish pace matched with superb close control which makes him an excellent dribbler. He’s frightful to face especially off the bench against tired legs.

Vini is relentless defensively. He has adapted to Zidane’s system and has shown maturity in the final third despite his finishing issues. He’s dynamic and often switches what he does up making him very unpredictable. 2 seasons in and he might have just become even scarier.
2. FC Barcelona: Riqui Puig (CM)
Riqui Puig’s long-awaited debut season was nothing short of remarkable. With awareness far beyond his years, efficient ball progression and a pressing monster bottled into a diminutive frame, his performances have impressed even his sceptics.

Puig still hasn’t fully been integrated into the Barcelona squad however. But there’s no better time than this season especially with the direction Ronald Koeman says he wants the club to go. Dynamism, youth & willingness to work, Puig brings it all & more.
3. Atletico Madrid: João Felix (CF/SS)
João has not had it easy adjusting to La Liga & Diego Simeone’s very demanding system. However in every game he that plays you can see the flashes of brilliance and the abundance of creative talent he has at his disposal.

João finally seemed like he has completely bought into Cholo’s system with consistent performances upfront & stronger performances in defensive transition towards the end of the season. If Atleti can put their finishing woes behind them, João will thrive in 2020/21.
4. Sevilla: Jules Koundé (CB)
At just 21, Jules has established himself as one of the league’s finest CBs & a mainstay in Lopetegui’s Europa League winning side. He’s not too tall but has tremendous leaping ability which allows him to win aerial duels over much taller players.

Koundé is an excellent passer of the ball and is not fazed by pressure. He’s calm at the back, and does not make rash decisions unlike his also highly rated CB partner, Diego Carlos. He's shown maturity beyond his years and that's why he's a highly touted prospect.
5. Villarreal: Dani Parejo (CM)
For years, the excellent Dani Parejo has gone under the radar despite being one of Valencia’s most important players. He’s a leader with solid work ethic & creativity. He’s a slick passer of the ball and one of Spain’s best dead ball specialists.

Dani Parejo now joins Villarreal, a club who’ve shown ambition to win trophies this season with big signings across the board. The lights are finally on Parejo and all he has to do is perform like he did all those years at Valencia. No easy task, but he'll be up to it.
6. Real Sociedad: David Silva (CM)
After leaving Man City as an all-time great, Merlin returns to La Liga to a club who are on the rise. Though he’s 34, David Silva’s decline has not been rapid. He’s a creative machine who will ensure La Real will not miss Ødegaard as much.

Real Sociedad will hope for David Silva to have a similar impact to that of Cazorla at Villarreal. He’s still a world class midfielder and La Real play football that perfectly suits his style. 2 years of Merlin’s magic at the New Anoeta!
7. Granada: Luis Milla (CM)
Just like his father 26 years before him, Luis Milla scored on his La Liga debut. Milla had been bouncing around Segunda Division clubs but had his breakout season for Tenerife in 2019/2020 winning him a move to a European spot contender Granada.

At Granada, Luis has found himself in the starting XI almost instantly. He’s a good progressor of the ball, creates a lot of chances and has an eye for goal. Granada have one of the more exciting midfields out there with him partnering the industrious Yangel Hererra.
8. Getafe: Cucho Hernández (ST)
Cucho has a lightning quick first step which allows him to exploit space. He constantly looks to make runs behind the defense & possesses a wicked shot. Getafe will want him to replicate his Huesca form where he was lethal, scoring 16 in 35 games!

Cucho Hernández wasn’t able to score a lot for the relegated Mallorca in 2019/2020. Despite Mallorca having a dysfunctional system, Cucho's non-goalscoring attributes stood out. In a more organised system at Getafe, Cucho should be able to thrive.
9. Valencia: Hugo Guillamón (CB)
In what was a turbulent year for Valencia, Hugo Guillamón's consistent performances at just 19/20 years of age was one of the few good takeways from a season most Valencia fans would rather forget.

Guillamón’s passing range is one of his biggest strengths. He’s able to pick out passes with ease even under pressure. He’s sharp and does not lose concentration unlike many CBs his age. He has to improve his ability in the air but he will be able to do it in time.
10. CA Osasuna: Rubén García (LW/AM/ST)
A mainstay at Osasuna for years, helping them back into La Liga, Rubén García has continued to be one of their more important players. "The Joker" is the club talisman.

He’s extremely versatile, capable of playing on the wings or as a striker. He's a goalscorer, creator-in-chief & he is also is unrelenting in pressing with no qualms about doing the dirty work. An awesome player who at 27 is getting better with every passing season.
