I understand why families are finding the rule of 6 hard and agree there should be some tweaks made to the law. But have to say it’s so hard to see all the commotion and change petitions - where was the outrage from the church when those who live alone were facing months of
isolation? Without ANY human touch or interaction? I wonder if the rule of 6 is a taste of isolation that families are often immune to. For some it’s the norm in a church culture that can idolise nuclear families. I’ll back you to be able to see more people but beg you to not
forget about those who are regularly isolated! Both now and going forward. We all need one another. If we live alone or not we need other people! We are all now one another’s REAL family. Isn’t the gospel amazing?!
