One thing I noticed about dudes in LTRs is that they don’t have much going for themselves which is why they are so heavily invested in their relationships. That relationship is the only valuable thing they think they have.
They try and give their woman the whole world in the efforts of keeping her around without realizing that women will always want more of what you give them. One thing that pisses women off is a guy that gives them everything they want.
I made this mistake in the past and always asked myself why women hardly appreciate a man’s effort. When you invest in your craft the rewards are far more beneficial than investing your resources in a woman.
Proverbs 31:3 even warns us men about this mistake. When you invest all your resources in a relationship you put yourself in a position of weakness and you will be at the mercy of the woman you are with by trying to please her all the time
You will come to a point where you can no longer keep up to her expectations and she will step out on you with a guy that is focused on his own life and does not give two flying fucks about her and she will be attracted to him
When you fear losing your woman you are just prolonging the inevitable. You will start to play it safe and you will put yourself in a position to lose her. You’ll start making promises you can’t keep, you’ll even put yourself in debt, and make irrational decisions
LTRs turn the strongest of men into soft pussies with a “Yes Man” mindset, a people pleaser, a nice guy, a simp. Start making yourself your own mental point of origin. If she threatens to leave you, tell her to fuck off. It’s going to happen anyway
