Second episode of the new medical drama Transplant made me have all the feels. #endometriosis and #adenomyosis are very real. Too man doctors signed off my pain until one doctor finally listened. Thank goodness he did because the damage was so bad I had a full hysterectomy. 1/
The surgery was complex and my uterus was 7 times its normal size. If this all wasn't enough I had pelvic congestion syndrome which involved arteries basically wrapped tightly around my uterus. If I can help advocate for anyone with these diseases please let me know. 2/
It shouldn't have to be this hard to receive treatment or really just help.
