Ok draft Season is over so time to fire off some draft thoughts and strategy’s and what my plans were.
Let’s start with this: ALL IN ON JOE MIXON this year. Have roughly 75% ownership of him is High stakes teams and set kds from 8-10 in most drafts to make sure he was my 1st pk
I wanted to be in that 8-10 spot not only for the Mixon position but to make sure I stayed in the top 17 overall to grab a 2nd top rb with targets of Drake,Chubb,Connor or Jacobs if he ever fell and then to also stay in top 29 to then start 3rd rd with OBJ,Goliday,Arob or Ridley.
I did try to get into the top 2 in a lot of drafts to get Barkley who is my 1.1 this year and I’m all in on him having a monster season.
Drafting three big rbs in a row was a favorite strategy of mine from the back end early in draft season when you could get Connor in 3rd....
My drafts all had the same look but different mix, huge ownership on the following:
Saquon
Mixon
Drake
Chubb
Connor
Edmonds
OBJ
K.G
Ridley
Mcclauren
Hollywood
Kirk
Ruggs
A.Miller
Boyd
Hockenson
Gesecki
Herndon
Fant
Goedert
Dak/Murray/Russ always my Qbs
I never once took a tight end in the top 100 overall of any draft because of how much I loved that group of tight ends in the 110-150 range and always drafted two of that group and sometimes 3. Thought the value was insane. I own zero shares of Kelce,Kittle,Andrews,Ertz,Waller
Every time I got to the 6th rd of a Draft and Dak,Murray,Russ were on the board I was taking them to add to my 2rb/3wr core starts. I did that because I loved 7-9th rd WRs that I felt would make great wr4s and that they were mispriced on the board such as Ruggs and A.Miller
I have zero shares of some popular players that I’m just off on:
Eckler
All Tampa Bay Bucs
Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon
Cooper Kupp
Adam Thielen
Juju
Keen Allen
Edelman
Jarv Landry
Deebo (you’re crazy if you drafted him this week top 100)
K.Hunt
