Observations from yesterday:

*1. Arteta is buying well: * Willian and Gabriel made a real impact right right off the bat, worked hard, and bought energy and passion to the team.
*2. Impressed with the press:* One ex-player observed on full time that “Arsenal are still pressing.” Seeing this work rate, in the hot sun at three-up, is definitely encouraging.
*3. Arteta Picks On Effort* I had not expected to see Laca in the middle or ElNeny in MF, but both worked super hard. I’m now not convinced we should let Laca go.
*4. Salah is a baller* LFC are as strong as ever going forward but that curiously, their defence remains as suspect as before the restart.
*5. Let’s Put the Hammer Down*. West Ham looks ripe for a hammering at The Emirates next week.
