Guidance for households with people who have any vulnerable member.
First, beyond annoyed this hasn’t been picked up by the news ( @BBCNews) - surely this is important? Pleased there is SOME guidance unlike last time. But, obvious floors in the plan. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/guidance-for-households-with-grandparents-parents-and-children-living-together-where-someone-is-at-increased-risk-or-has-symptoms-of-coronavirus-cov

Moving vulnerable people out of a household if there is COVID, although ideal on paper, is just not feasible at all. The majority will need care, adapted houses, routines and a whole lot of support already in their home. I just feel there is no winning in this situation.
Actually, we could have small wins. We could protect the ‘vulnerable’. We could allow their carers to stay home (paid). We could look at the family situation and keep transmission into a house to an absolute minimum, even if it involved a child, there are ways.
I don’t know how many times I can say that we are literally playing with peoples lives here. And it really frustrates me that even the plans made look like they haven’t really had much contribution from an actual ‘vulnerable’ person. Rant over
