The moral panic over the show cuties is ridiculous. the same moral panic can then be used to justify transphobic policies, then anti gay policies etc. Netflix did the show a HUGE disservice w the poster, but they should not cave in to rw demands, bc they will never be satisfied.

The show itself is ABOUT how black children are hypersexualized and was to be an examination of that. And the right in their hysteria are doing exactly what they didn’t want done, which is to hypersexualize the children. Tulsi getting involved proves that she is a clown.

*oops movie but point still stands. Total clownery on Netflix and Tulsi’s part and makes me curious if she is getting into Q. But no matter this is gross. And of course they gonna attack a show with a black lead.

And I’m not usually a slippery slope person except when it comes to censorship or pulling something. I do think that’s a slippery slope.
