Frontline communities have already been seeing the effects of climate change. The wildfire smoke surrounding Seattle needs to be a wake up call for the privileged people here who have been ignoring climate change

@govinslee enough with the empty words. You've been demanded by Protectors of the Salish Sea to declare a climate emergency and you have ignored these demands. A clean fuel standard is not enough.

@MayorJenny you are not doing enough. One smoke shelter for 80 people is not enough. There are over 5000 people that aren't able to get out of the smoke. These are our neighbors and residents of the city you govern. You are responsible for their safety

@ChoppRep you are too little too late. You've wasted so many chances to take bold climate action as house speaker. You are incapable of leading us through the changes that we need to make. It's time for you to move out of the way and let the youth lead. You have failed us
